I ordered the Korean BBQ pizza, and without delay I must say it was the most flavorful and well-balanced pizza I have ever had... the pleasure of eating. My partner played it "safe" by ordering the Tavern, a slight twist on a classic pepperoni, and stilldelicious without pulling one too far away from the safety of the classics. We paired our meal with a couple cocktails andfinished with the house made Vanilla Soft Serve. Despite being elegantly simple in its flavor profile, for me, it was the starof the evening, and it's hard to beat that Korean BBQ. After filling our bellies with amazing pizza, the palate cleanser of softserve was almost heavenly. As the creamy treat was allowed to melt on our tongues it imparted a new flavorful note moment bymoment. Our pizza of choice in the Twin Cities! The pizza combinations are all delicious. I love that they have rotating specials. Most... recently we ordered the chateau pie (apricot, mushroom, goat cheese, arugula) and the fresh tomato pie (cherry tomatoes, garlic,honey). The crust is always cooked to perfection with the right amount of char on the bottom. The caesar salad is phenomenal aswell- the pickled egg is what makes it so delicious and unique. You can tell they use fresh ingredients only. The service isalso great. Our server was helpful and kept us updated frequently. We have usually been around 8:00 PM on Sunday evenings andare typically seated immediately. This place has never failed me yet. This is a Korean American pizzeria. Excellent service and food. The restaurant is clean.... Lots of free easy parking. There is a 21% surcharge on every bill. They say that the surcharge allows them to eliminate thetipped vs non-tipped employee structure. Read more
I took the images attached with my film camera. Pizzeria Lola is a restaurant I have had the joy of visiting more than a dozen... times. Each time, the drinks and the pizza are exceptional. The service I have had has either been average or above average(Brennan was a great server multiple times). When they have a special soft-serve, I get it every time. I had tried to go here recently but it was just too busy and parking can be a mess. I can now see why with how good their pizza... is. Today I went close to open to guarantee a chance at getting seated upon walking in and finding somewhere to park. Luckily,it wasn't too busy and I was able to get seated right away. Nice inside seating and an outdoor seating spot which is perfect forwarm summer days. I ordered the old reliable to keep it simple my first time here. I initially want to enjoy a basic pizza andthen try their more creative options if they can execute the fundamentals of good pizza. Let me say, Pizzeria Lola almost beatout my favorite pizza spot in Minneapolis. I was excited when the pizza made it to my table. Visually, I could tell that it wasgoing to be good especially with the charred edges around the crust. The fact that they can have paper thin crust but still keepit crispy is applaudable. The outer crust was also soft and crunchy. It was honestly cooked perfectly and it was a great firsttime visit here. The only thing I could note would be that the sauce needed just a little bit more tang or seasoning, but I willdefinitely be returning here in the future to explore the menu further. Read more
This place has gourmet pizzas with a Korean twist. The pizzas are always amazing. We ordered a margarita pizza with assortment... of mushrooms and the Lady Zaza. Both were very good. We also had their strawberry soft serve that was freshly made and tasted sofresh and light. The service is prompt and the staff is friendly. The patio is beautiful as well. Read more
After having lived in Europe for the last three years it’s been difficult to find authentic pizza. We visited today for the... first time and I will say the Pizza was amazing! Great job by your team! Finally made it here after all this time and it more than lived up to its reputation. Awesome salad and meatballs to start the... night and then topped of wit the excellent Korean BBQ and Le Creme with roni!
