My first authentic ramen meal! Vibe of the restaurant matches with the name of restaurant, it?s small but well run restaurant... with constant flow of crowd, light music and anime themed decor. Cool place to hangout with pals if you are looking forsomething different to tryout. About food, they do have more options than I expected, including vegetarian ramen bowl and friedchicken. Service was fast, within 10 mins of order we got our food. Quality of food was good with rich, fresh ingredients, flavorful and that justifies the price. They also have drinks option ranging from beer, sake and wine. We order tonkotsu whichwas flavorful, creamy and tasty. Not at all on spicy side. I would also like to try some other spicy options next time. Veggieramen was also good and flavorful. Hot sake was also something new, good for Minnesota weather. I appreciate the hospitality ofstaff, they were respectful and welcoming. Read more

I love their ramen like the desert loves the rain. The Tonk is the best in the cities. I'll take that Pepsi challenge with any... ramen shop. Everything slaps, but the karaage really hits hard. It's all in the marinade. Chill environment, great music that isusually way out there something you haven't heard before. Anime everywhere. Playing on a TV. It's a nerd's paradise, if thatnerd also likes ramen. Read more

A big disappointment for me. My buddy ordered the tonkotsu ramen and it was bland and tasted whatever. We read great reviews... about the broth being rich and tasty so when we tried his bowl of tonkotsu we were definitely shocked to taste a bland bowl oframen. I ordered the vegetable curry and I thought it was lacking as well. As much as I love tomatoes, I don't think they wentwell with the curry. The tomato was a huge chunk and I felt it detracted from the savory nature of Japanese curry as well asmade the dish unappetizing to eat. The tomato wasn't even cooked down to be tender. I will say the chicken was fried so they hadthat going for them. Also the onigiri felt as if they were skimping on filling and you were just eating rice. One other thingthat set me off was no gyudon. I feel like gyudon is one of the more simple dishes but they were out if stock. After all this Iam still willing to try this place one more time because of the rave reviews it got. Hopefully the next time we get the headchef or something because this showing was not great. Read more

AMAZING food and wonderful staff! I ordered the Torishio ramen and it was TO DIE FOR. We also got an order of tonkatsu ramen... with a side of karaage along with pork belly onigiri! Wonderful selection of items with a very welcoming atmosphere. Decorationslook amazing with an anime-styled interior. I don?t know where this has been all my life!! 10/10!! ?? Read more

The cozy and simply decorated Ramen Kazama delivers all the comforts of a Japanese ramen shop, including fast service, ice cold... beers, and bowls of chewy noodles in deeply flavorful broth. The bowl of Tonkotsu I ordered was topped with slices of chashupork, wood ear mushrooms, scallions, bamboo shoots, and a jammy soy marinated egg. The broth was unctuous and creamy, with adeep pork flavor and the noodles had a nice bouncy chew. Service here was prompt and friendly and I especially appreciated theattention to details like having glass mugs for the selection of Japanese beers. Overall, Ramen Kazama is an excellent spot fora variety of Japanese comfort food, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a ramen experience like the oneyou would experience in Japan, New York, or the West Coast. Great place for ramen. It?s honestly one of the few ramen shops I go out of my way to go to. The broth is fatty and creamy and... just all around comforting. Noodles have a nice chew and bounce to them and they have different drinks u can get. I personallyget beer when I go there so I can only speak for that part. They got a super small selection of beer. I would say 4 differentJapanese style ones. Shop is a bit small so u will be sitting pretty close to the person next to you. I would say if u stuckyour arms outwards to your side. U would end up touching the person next to you. The patio however is a bit more spacious butwith limited seating. Best to sit out there during warmer climates. Staff is friendly and accommodating when needed. U can dotake out or dine in with this place and they take cash or card. Parking wise it?s street parking so expect to walk to this placefrom your car. I would say probably a 1 or 2 minute walk. So not too bad. The food is a bit on the expensive side tbh. I orderedspicy gyoza with 2 bowls of ramen and 2 drinks and it cost me around 43 dollars not including the tip I left. So expect to spendsome money here. A bowl can run 14 bucks on its own. But I would say it?s worth it. Read more

This place is open for dine in! Just wanted to put that first, come patron this place. A nice behinde the wall ramen joint,... with more than fair prices, and better than decent food. I got the chashu ramen, and the broth was tasty and the pork wasfatty. Beer and drinks in cans, and water service for the table. Kimchi was nice and cool. The atmosphere was a bit patched butwith character. Definitely come here if you want some filling, tasty ramen for great prices. Read more
