I was expecting more given the amount of positive reviews. Chips were cold and oily. My son had chicken tacos which were soggy.... I did not care for the chicken enchiladas, bland and off tasting. We both had a couple of bites and decided not to keep eating.Waitress asked if we wanted to box up the food, I replied “no thanks, we did not care for the taste or quality, just the checkplease”. She ran my card and said she attempted to offer us a discount but the manager declined. That’s fine but why mentionthat when I did not ask for a free meal or discount? Seemed like a slap in the face after a disgusting meal. Will avoid Rojo inthe future. Read more

Food and service OK, but nothing I ate would classify as actual Mexican food. Queso was greasy and tasted buttery which was... odd; the rice was SUPER sweet. I ordered fajitas which were decent but they were not served traditionally on the cast iron panwith peppers and onions (replated to a new, not hot, small pan). Veg tasted like reheated frozen veggies and were not grilled. So, not terrible, but I wouldn't seek it out either. Read more

First time at Rojo Mexican Grill Westend. My wife and I had great appetizers: Avocado egg rolls with a honey cilantro dipping... sauce. It was just awesome. Ceviche, loaded with shrimp, crab, tomatoes, onions, garlic, lime, avocado, jalapeño, cilantro(gluten free). It was so refreshing and tasting great. For dinner my wife had beef enchiladas with seasoned ground beef, roasted green chiles and onions, asadero and manchego cheese. Also included a green and red sauce. I had the meatloaf, withground beef, chorizo, sausage, sautéed onions and topped with this out of the world oaxaca cream sauce. This dish had anunbelievable flavor. Both our dinners were great. We will definitely go back to try other great dishes. Read more

I’m a vegan, so I ordered chips and guac, avocado egg rolls, and veggie tacos without cheese. I wish the tacos had more... flavor, they were pretty good but needed something more. The paloma was super good. Jeremy our server was absolutely fantasticand had such great energy!! Patio got a lot of good sun and we enjoyed sitting out there. Read more

Row Rojo your boat, made of sour cream... Oh yeah, there are puns for nursery rhymes. I'm always Guac-ed and loaded A local... restaurant with skills and a license to grill. Check it out: The House Specialty with slow roasted pork, onions, serranopeppers and sour cream with pasilla chile sauce and sides of rice, lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole Avocado Egg RollsFilled with avocado, red onions, sun-dried tomatoes, with a honey cilantro dipping sauce All From Rojo Mexican Grill near St.Louis Park The app was a fun fusion of Asian and Mexican cuisine. The avocado added a nice creaminess to the crunch of thefried wrapper, complemented by the acidity of the tomatoes and subtle strength of the onions. This is an interest-piquer, forsure, and you won't find it many places Now for the main dish. A specialty indeed, the sizzlin' skillet-served pork was tenderto the fork And that creamy, rich pasilla sauce... I can certainly see that in my foodie future--It was fantastic!! Fans of anyMexican food can dish with all the included authentic ingredients. This was a top-notch build-your-own-taco style dinner Nocomplaints from Rojo! The House Specialty is worth stopping by to try. A thoughtful menu with both traditional takes and newcreations will make you request a return Shoutout to Henry for joining and opting to be adventurous with our order! Read more

Terrible service...they messed up our order then had the nerve to only give 50 percent off a meal we didn't even eat. Not to... mention they could have cost my brother a trip to the hospital by leaving the item request off 3 times ...3 times still on thetacos. Read more

This is a great place for some delicious Mexican food. The ambiance is very good for friends and dates. The menu has good... variety of options. The place serves alcohol and has a very nice bar. There are a huge variety of Cocktails and drinksavailable. The patio seating is huge and very lively. The prices are on the higher ????????side for the food and drinks theyoffer. But given the location and competition, the prices seem competitive. The avocado ???? egg roll is my favorite appetizerhere. The fajitas and the tacos are mind blowing. The tomatillo salsa is a must try with your food. Overall I loved this placeand will definitely visit again. Read more
