CHECK YOUR DRINKS FOR BEES!! Went here for my friends birthday - 9/10, ordered drinks, and went to the bathroom. Upon getting... under the bathroom lights we noticed not one, but 3 hornets in my friends drink. I went to the bartender and told him thesituation, he instantly got an attitude. I told him I’m not trying to be a “Karin” because I was a bartender for 9+ years.But if you’re using open containers of juice outside you have to at least put a napkin over the can. That’s against healthcode. (This was the slow side too, mind you; not the side with the DJ.) He says there’s a hornets nest close by and that I’dhave better luck at the bar on the other side….. definitely will not be returning to waste money on drinks that will just bethrown away and dealt with in such a negative way. This was the same bartender who was snarky with the people in front of us,saying they need to move out the way in a very impolite way because there’s people behind them….. they were waiting fortheir card to be ran and returned to them… A talk about customer service definitely needs to be brought up with this employee. Terrible service. Overcharged. No detail on check to prove. Forced 20% tip. Slow slow, distracted service. Missed part of our... show after allowing 2 full hours for basic dinner, arriving at 5pm. Super expensive for such low bar, non-professional serviceall around. Nice rooftop, pretty ok food. But ripped off, so not worth it. Read more
The steakhouse cheeseburger which featured wagu was very dry overdone while forgetting components when served (Bacon.. Can't... forget bacon unless you are hungover all day). Fries were half soggy, half crisp. My salad was totally forgotten. The susi wassub-par. Drinks were meh and served in a plastic cup. Ooen until 11pm, which others are only open until 9pm which is the reasonfor coming. Our waiter had to be flagged down most times. I wouldn't recommend this place. Read more
Cute rooftop bar. Not too crowded but definitely busy. Came to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner around 8pm. After ordering... our food, our server didn't come back so we were waterless the whole 2 hours there. The food was good and came out at areasonable time. Personally, I'm not that big of a fan on their sushi rolls. They had way more rice than fish and otheringredients so the flavor was a bit off for me. After finishing our food, we were ready to check out but it did took a while todo so because they didn't have a lot of staff. Read more
Mixed emotions about Seven... lots of potential, but unfortunately not a good experience. Picked it for dinner since thet had... roof top seating and we were feeling like having some meat for dinner. The outdoor seating was great! Food was good, but thesteaks are over priced when you compare to similar spots downtown. I had the porkchops, which were pretty good and a greatportion. My wife had the Filet Mignon and Broccolini, which was okay, but was expecting it to be a bit better. We had a coupledrinks, which came in plastic cups and much sweeter than they should have been. We tried to order a bottle of Chloe for us toshare, but we were told that they were all out of Chloe and the waiter made a recommendation that was double the price (wedidn't realize it until we got the bill, but I suppose we should have known better). However, as we were finishing up, one ofthe other waiters brought out a full bottle of Chloe to a few tables down... our waiter did see me look at it and he looked abit nervous, but never said anything. I am not sure if it's typical to have the gratuity automatically added to the bill for atable of two, but it was already added to our bill... have NEVER had that happen ANYWHERE! And we go out A LOT. As we always do,we just cut our losses and moved on. The last time we were here was about 10 years ago, and it was a completely differentexperience. The sushi taco was filled with a lot of rice and not as much meat filling. The outside is crunchy when you take a bite and the... top is drizzled with creamy and rich sauce. I ordered pan seared salmon and it was placed on a wooden brick with potatoes andsautéed veggies on the bottom. The salmon was still flaky just as I loved it. The mashed potatoes was creamy and smooth. Thiswas my second time coming here and I was disappointed herb crusted rack of lamb. The rack of lamb was small and there was 3-4racks. As I was eating it, the lamb still have a smell in it so I guessed it wasn’t cleaned properly. The meat was very chewy.I don’t know if it’s COVID or they change cooks but when I had it the first time I visited, I fell in love with this dish. Server was such a polite man. Food was terrific. The place was beautiful. Cons: we wanted to sit on the rooftop, but was seated... downstairs. It was freezing in there. Read more
Went for a cocktail on the rooftop. My fancy sounding cocktail pretty much tasted like a margarita. I improved it by bruising... my basil with a straw. My partner has an old fashioned, which was pretty good once he muddled it with his straw. 2 drinks at$15 each somehow came to $41. We gave the bartender a $50 and he gave us $8 back (he had plenty of ones - I could see thedrawer). Over priced, slow service, mediocre for price and felt like out bartender essentially stole $12 off the top plus tip. Looking at the menu I can think of a lot of places I would prefer to drop that amount of cash for better cocktails and bettersushi selection. Steaks look good but crazy expensive ($80 avg). By the end of one cocktail we both said we would never beback. Read more
