They have a unique approach to ordering, wherein you scan a QR code at your table and place your order through the associated... link, and the food gets delivered to you as it's rest. It definitely reduced the whole "they're waiting for me to make adecision" anxiety that other places have, and frees up the staff to be productive in other ways. It breaks my heart to say this but this place just isn't special anymore. I used to live in the neighborhood, I'd been there... easily thirty times, it was my favorite breakfast in Minneapolis. In the years since, they've remodeled and overhauled the menuand now all the charm is gone. The new corporate owners were listed on the bottom of the menu and that's how it feels now:corporate. Sanitized. It used to be a vibe, now it's a brand. The portions were never generous but they got smaller. Not asingle unique or interesting item to order. The name says it all. Ordering online and having the servers bring out the food is a great concept, but they don't seem to have... the process down. We both ordered separately at the same time. Beverages came out, one meal came out and the other one wascompletely overlooked. This was during a time where there were 3 tables and 3 wait staff, so I'm not sure of thedisconnect. The food is average. Nothing special here. Large portion, but mediocre food. Lastly, there is a 16% service feeand that fee doesn't go to the server. What? So for non-wait staff service you automatically pay 16% and then you have theoption to tip the staff. Not sure why anyone would work here. I won't be visiting again. There are better food options. Great diner with extensive vegan options. I’d you’re looking for a vegan pancake, this is your place in MPLS. Soo good,... reminded me of a classic griddle pancake. The scramble is a little chunky as other mentioned but very good. Fruit was fresh. Igot my meal to go but it was great to enjoy at home. Read more
Ordered the trash browns and a latte through Doordash and both arrived fairly quickly, warm and tasted great! No issues! The... trash browns are a bit on the pricey side but I nonetheless really enjoyed every aspect from the eggs to the buttered englishmuffins to the sautéed veggies. They do a quality job here and this was a great first impression of the place. I hope to dinein someday. Read more
It's nice that they have some vegan options, but I would appreciate more. It was really just pancakes or tofu scramble for... breakfast. The pancakes were really great though and I'll definitely come back when I'm craving classic pancakes! The tofuscramble wasn't really a scramble and I was hesitant when I saw pale tofu cubes, but they were seasoned well! I really enjoyedthe potatoes too. Read more
Visiting the restaurant during covid, it was a little weird because there was no (bad) waitress to take your order ????????... However, like before...the food was delicious. We ordered French toast with strawberries and blueberries, chicken and waffles,and milk shakes! Definitely love coming to the restaurant for some awesome breakfast! Read more
