Not too bad of an experience. They were out of all beers except some local IPAs and bud light.. But their big breakfast burrito... wasn't all too bad. I wasn't expecting fine dining at the airport, so it got me by. Read more

Super disappointing. We got the original Blucy and the Nacho Totchos. The Blucy honestly was just not good, it was burnt and dry... and had almost no cheese on the inside? and super small and over priced. I would not recommend, McDonald?s would be better. Theonly good part of the meal was the Nacho Tatchos and they were ok at best. Read more

This is the most disappointing experience I have had at The Blue Door Pub. As a prior Minnesota resident, I frequented the St.... Paul and Longfellow locations for many years. The burgers there are hot, juicy, substantial and an icon. However, the airportlocation is the most disgraceful version of the famous juicy Lucy. The burger was shriveled, basically empty (should be packedwith cheese or ingredients), overdone, dry and Luke warm. The bun was also rubbery and bland. Do not eat here for the juicy Lucyexperience. Also, they only have one juicy Lucy. The other locations have many varieties, all better than the bacon juicy Lucy. The owners should be embarrassed with this product. The deep fried pickles were also trash. They sliced them too thin and thepickle flavor and texture was absent, meaning all you taste is fried batter. The only good menu item were the cheese curds. Theyhaven?t screwed those up yet. Don?t come here for a true juicy Lucy experience or judge Minnesota on this garbage food. Also, their beer selection was laughable. Save your money and calories, unless you come for the cheese curds only. The one star isfor the staff who was very pleasant and the cheese curds. Read more

This is the third time I?ve been treated so rudely by the bald manager in this photo. I?ve never written a bad review in my... life. Anyway, when the welcome sign is still out and you walk in and he rudely yells closed at you certainly makes you neverwant to go back. This place needs set hours and a closed sign out front when they are actually closed so the staff doesn?t yellclosed in your face and they are always trying to close early. Read more

Ordered a bloody mary, bacon blucy (only one on the menu), with a side of fried green beans. The burger was relatively... standard... on-par with a homemade burger quality-wise. The fried green beans were a bit over-battered, but it is what it is. Myonly major complaint is the price of a bloody mary. it was about 16$ for one. I understand this is an airport and all, but ohboy golly I could make a dozen of them at home for less than $16. Staff are fine. Nothing negative to say about them, they'redoing the best they can. The 4% hospitality charge is disappointing but I won't complain about it. Remember that you are at anairport and don't set your standards too high. Do not choose to eat at a dine-in restaurant if your layover is an hour or less. Finally, if you're vegetarian or vegan, I encourage you to go somewhere else since the menu is very limited. Read more

Ordered the Bacon Bluey and the fried green beans. This burger was supposed to be their take on a juicy Lucy, something that... Minneapolis is known for. Specifically this one has bacon and cheese inside and cheese on top. At least I think this was theconcept. I believe that the pattie had a hole and the cheese leaked out, which really left soggy sad bacon that was kind ofunappetizing. Had the cheese not leaked it may have been good. At least I assume this is the intent, otherwise the burger wasill conceived from the get go. Due to the pandemic this was their only "Bluey" option on the menu, otherwise I would havegotten something more traditional. Fried green beans were over saturated with oil and bland, probably because the oil wasmasking the flavors of the batter and beans. My nearly a decade of restaurant service tells me that the cooks didn't wait forthe fryer to heat up to proper temperatures. Frying at low temperatures will result in starches, batters, etc to absorboil. My server was great and had I been drinking it probably would have been a better visit. Not worth complaining, didn'twant more of this food. Ate it because I was hungry and had to jump on another plane. Read more

Service at the bar top was great. I had time to kill as my flight had been delayed and rebooked. Bartenders were great about... keeping my drinks full but not checking in too often so I could relax and hang out. Ordered a Blucy and added tots. The totscould definitely use some seasoning, but the Blucy was fantastic as is. Spent $89 including 20% tip for several drinks and thefood, so pretty decent value for airport fare. Read more

Server/bartender was super friendly, but the turkey bacon cheddar sandwich was pitiful. I've had better prepackaged at a gas... station which seemed like what this was. Bacon was cold, minuscule, and inedible. Pretty steep at $14 for just a lousy sandwichno fries/tots. Should have gotten the wings. Read more
