I wanted to try this place based on the Google reviews I saw here and was not disappointed. I came here for lunch and grabbed 3... empanadas. Beef, Chorizo, and Ham & Cheese. The Beef was my favorite and honestly, if I came back, I would be tempted to get allbeef empanadas as I thought it was better than the Chorizo and much better than the ham & cheese (still good but not remarkablefor my taste buds). The older lady who took my order (who I assume is one of the owners), was super nice and friendly! I satoutside and she even swung by to check how everything was which is not common when you order and grab your food at the frontcounter. I will say that I thought the empanadas looked bigger in everyone's pictures so I took one with my hand in the picturefor somewhat of a reference. Also, the price is on the more expensive side for lunch. It was $3.75 each and 3 seems like theminimum I would recommend. That comes out to $12 and some change and if tipping, the total is over $14. That's on the high sidefor me, even in 2022. Given that this is very tasty food, I left it at 5 stars and may come back every so often. Read more

We stopped for lunch for something different. The location seems recently remodeled. The menu is pretty straightforward. They... serve empanadas, sandwiches, salads and desserts. They have plenty of tables and outside seating is available. We follow the gpssince we were not familiar with the area. We tried the empanadas and dessert. To my surprise they are not fried but it made alighter lunch, so we were happy about it. The Tres Leches dessert was better than expected. I really appreciated the mural inthe main dining area because of the contribute to the great Diego Armando Maradona. As a Neapolitan as a soccer fan, it touchedmy heart and brought back lots of memories. If you are in the mood for some exotic flavors, this is the place to be. Read more

Honestly, I just found this gem a few days ago when our power was out and I didn?t want to go home. I came here after work, had... a glass of wine and a few empanadas. Ended up chatting with one of the owners and saw a ton of families come in. All were warmlygreeted and the kids were so excited to come in. The whole restaurant had a great feeling. I stopped by again this week to getempanadas for my husband and even reheated he said they were great. 5 stars all around in my book. You?ve got to check out thisplace Read more

I was on the search for empanadas recently and was lucky to stumble across Del Sur Empanadas. The lady who took my order has... friendly and welcoming. It had a modern cafe design to it with stylish metal chairs and wood tables. There was also seatinginside and out. The prices were fair considering the quality of food that you are getting. I ordered a few different empanadas, and I also tried their housemade flan. Everything was delicious and you can taste the love and care that was put into this food.I tried the chorizo, bbq chicken, spinach, and sweet corn empanadas. The chorizo with chimichurri was such a perfect combo, andthe chimichurri really took the chorizo empanada up a notch. The bbq chicken was packed with chicken and had a balanced bbqtaste. The chicken was tender and super flavorful. The sweet corn and spicey sour cream paired together like the chorizo andchimichurri did. Lastly, the spinach empanada. This one reminded me of spanikopita and it was creamy and delicious. All of themwere great, but if I had to pick my favorites, I would defintely say the bbq chicken and the spinach. Another thing I liked wasthe softness of the empanada and the crunchy edges. You honestly couldn't ask for better empanadas. I took the dessert to go andthe dulce de leche on top of the flan was the perfect combination. I had never had flan before so I wasn't sure what to expectbut they hit the nail on the head with this too. The name and identifier on the empanada is such a creative aspect too. I willdefinitely support this business again in the future! Read more

Fresh flavors and generous portions. Nice outdoor patio in a peaceful part of town. Spacious indoor seating. I got the Beef... Lomito sandwich. It isn?t spicy at all, but has a nice mix of subtle flavors. A person eating at a nearby table lived inArgentina for many years and commented on how authentic the food is. It is a bit pricey ($14) but it is good. It comes with aside so I got the fried potatoes. It was all very good. I waited less than 10 minutes for my food. It would be a great spot toenjoy a meal with friends or colleagues. I will try one of their empanadas next time. Read more

Loved this place and found the best empanadas which is almost the same what I had in Argentina. They have variety of empanadas... with different fillings. Steak sandwich was also delicious. Great place, nice beer and good Argentinian malbec. Highlyrecommended. Read more
