I've been patronizing them for about 8 years now and that should tell you that their quality is good. I don't drink so I can't... speak to the bar service but the food service is always good. I would highly recommend the loaded nachos as an appetizer orentree and the buffalo shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes as an appetizer. If you like the lighter fare their salads arefilling and delightful, available with either grilled or breaded chicken on top. Read more
What a great local dive. This place does not disappoint. Great food here. A service team that is super nice, attentive and... courteous. Great much menu, excellent food, and a lot of our. Be prepared to eat if you go here. No bird meals served here. Youmay end up taking food away with you. Many of the portions could be shared. Be careful of the floor as it can be slippery dueto condensation inside the building. There are signs mentioning this, but keep your attention on this throughout yourvisit. Food was good! After reading the reviews, I do agree that it took some time to get my meal but after seeing the food was fresh... not junk thrown in a fryer I understand. I will return. Read more
Good spot to grab a drink or two with friends or when you're out for a date night. I am giving 4 stars to their margarita... flight where you can pick n choose 4 flavors out of many , my favorite flavors are pomegranate, raspberry, lemon but if youlike sweet flavors then you should try their orange, mango and coconut pineapple. I ordered shrimp tacos ,I liked the spicyfried shrimps on top but the coleslaw in it had a weird test so I only ate the shrimp and left the rest of the food . My husbandliked their burger. Prices are fair. Margarita flight was $11 ( 4 frozen margaritas ) and shrimp tacos were $12 (3 tacos witha side of your choice ) Service part was good ,Jordan helped us , she was friendly and sweet. Went for the first time with my wife and son , my wife is gluten free and was happy that they had a quite lengthy menu just for... gluten free people . We ordered loaded mini nachos with brisket and it was really good , only thing is maybe put the cheese onlast , then I had the baked onion soup which was amazing . Then the real food came and my wife?s jalapeño burger that theymade gluten free for her was very good , she was so happy , my son said his chicken sandwich was good as well. Joined Dock Rotz Tavern for lunch on Mother?s Day at 11:15 am. They opened at 11 so we were able to choose our table and sit... right away. I ordered a mango lemonade and I thought it tasted good! The food came out at 11:50 am after we ordered. Ipersonally ate the tacos which had slaw, shrimp and sauce. TBH, I wish I ordered the wrap. They were okay, but basic. They wereout of rice so I had to change to the onion rings for a side. Overall 3/5. My mom ordered the cheese curds and the tots. Cheesecurds were over cooked where the cheese was melted all around, felt like you were eating just batter. Tots, didn?t try. Dad hadthe jalapeño burger. He ate it, no comments. We also ordered the chicken Mac and cheese, and the dock rotz burger. Both hadgood reviews. The last meal ordered was the Philly cheese steak. They wished it was more cheese! Read more
We moved into Minooka this October 2022. This restaurant was very close to our home so my family and I decided to try it. Let me... say it didn't disappoint us. The food was delicious. I tried the Margarita Flight and the Dynamite Burger. Everything was great!We will be going back for sure! Read more
