Dairy Queen on 1924 4th Ave NW are so rude. POOR MANAGEMENT! My husband and I were doordashing and waited there for quite... awhile. No one asked us if we needed help. We saw our order sitting on the counter and when my husband went to check the nameon the receipt, the employee snatched it out of his hands and said " don't grab that, it's not ready yet" " well b**** , he wasjust checking to see if that was the right order. You could have asked us if we needed help but not one single employee had thedecency to do so and there were many of you working and looking right at us. also the mManger must be a teen herself as shedidn't seem to care that her employees were rude and snatching food out of people's hands. This place will always be apart of my childhood. I would always ride my bike to get a ice cream cone and then ride home. Since... 2011, I have watched this place truly transform, have its ups and downs, but has always stayed mostly consistent. Im a local and i frequent this dairy queen. The drive thru people are nice and helpful. The food is good, typical of DQ and my... order is rarely ever wrong- but when it is I have no trouble getting the order fixed. They have a stick-on film over theirdelivery screen, which I'm not a fan of since I once noticed (before the film went up) a kid accidentally run his sleeve over aburger...and it was gross and very unsanitary, so I don't eat dq in winter months (since staff wear short sleeves in thesummer...) Probably the best Dairy Queen in Minot. I don't go to the mall, so I am not sure about that one. They know how to correctly make... a Royal Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard though. 5 out of 5! Read more
Went to get an ice cream cake for a birthday. It was annoyingly difficult to find any cake that was close to the flavors I... wanted. Ended up having to buy a larger size than I wanted. It is good but we could only eat half of it. Read more
I go here frequently. If I go for lunch or immediately after work, the service and food are usually good. If I use the drive... thru in the evening (most recently 8/5/21) they can't get my order right to save their lives. I live out of town and alwaysorder my items WITH lids, with spoons on the side so I don't have a mess in the car before I get home. I say this when orderingand repeat it to the cashier at the window. 9 of 10 times it's wrong. Listen to your customers requests please. It's like theperson taking the order does not communicate with the staff filling the order. Read more
Store is clean, service was friendly, quick and above expectations. Pro-tip: order food and ice cream together and ask them to... wait to make the desserts until you are ready so they aren't melting away while you eat. Read more
