Our server Kendall was top notch. Always kept checking in. Super sweet. The buffalo shrimp were probably the best I've had. I... had a hard time sharing them! Their sauce was delicious. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The bluecheese was chunky and good too. Had a burger for dinner. The meat of the burger was tasty but the bun was a bit stale whichessentially ruined the burger as a whole. I just ate the meat and toppings. Got a side of sweet potato tots. Listen, if I could give them 10 stars I would! This was our first time here and the experience was so great! Our waitress... Kendall was SO AMAZING! Everything was ???????????? DELICIOUS! The restaurant has great vibes and we will absolutely be back! Wegot the queso for our appetizer, and three meals consisting of the fried fish platter w/ loaded baked potato, Beef taco salad &blackened shrimp tacos w/ a bowl of chili and cheese fries! We had a party of 20 with us, and we were accommodated very well. Our waitress was amazing and super patient with us! The food... was great as well, but most notable are the fries! My wife took us out on what was a stressful day for her and me and it was just what we needed to know that the world is still an... ok place in some places...THIS being one. Friendly wait staff great food to go with a nice variety of IPAs. TV screenseverywhere with a steady rhythmic beat coming from the karaoke machine. They have outdoor seating as well AND specials all weekthat is placed on your table. They even have what looked like a private room for maybe small gatherings. If your in the mint hill area and you don?t want any fast food like I was last night the Dunwellz is a great place to go..I?ve... lived in the area for the last 7 yrs but this was the first time I?ve eaten here and boy have I been missing out.. The TucsonPasta was delicious amazing flavor the Alfredo and spinach sauce had great flavor.. Also loved the buffalo shrimp with SweetChilli sauce.. Omg.. My wife had the fiesta Quesadilla she loved the spectacular flavors.. When I picked up my order the placewas packed but my food was ready to go when I arrived. service was great. AMAZING! First time here. There were 5 of us, no wait and place was full. No mask mandates, which is nice for those of us that... think they are pointless. Staff wears them though. We all got different things and they were ALL delicious! Fried pickles wereabout the best I've ever had. Menu says they're spicy- they aren't. But they're so good. I got a brisket patty melt.
