Accidentally reviewed this place instead of the horrible Mexican restaurant a few hundred yards away. Received a response a day... later, sorry for the review but any owner who responds during a remodel within a day deserves 5 stars. Read more

The best worst kept secret in Minturn. This place is FANTASTIC, please never change. Stiff drinks, fast service, and the best... jalapeño poppers you will ever get. Seriously, they are stuffed with sausage and wrapped in bacon. Say f* it to yourcholesterol levels and order one. Read more

This was one of the places that we read we must try while we are in Vail, and well for anyone that reads this review. If you are... going for the food. It's not really anything special. Mexican/American cuisine. As someone with a Latin American background, wasslightly disappointed in the Mexican cuisine. It's not bad. It's just not great. If you like bars you might appreciate thehistory of the bar as you enjoy a drink. Don't think it was worth it. Definitely not a place I will visit again. That being saidDave our server was fantastic. He was the best part of our dining experience here. Read more

If you're lucky enough to eat at the Minturn Saloon then you're either a "local" or a very wise and well-informed visitor to the... Vail Valley. This is so much more than just a great place to eat (and/or drink). It is an institution of the area with a richhistory and plenty of autographed photos from famous actors, musicians, athletes and politicians dating back decades. On asunny day you can relax on their patio with a refreshing drink (margaritas are a specialty here... just stay well-hydrated withwater at high altitude). My favorite menu item for 30+ years was their Shrimp Enchiladas with Blue Corn Tortillas and WhiteJalapeno Sauce. Rumor has it that it has been deprecated in the post COVID-19 world. If you're resourceful, however, it can beclosely recreated by customizing their taco or burrito offering. NOTE: The free self-service chips and salsa have gone the wayof the shrimp enchiladas... You'll have to order them from your server now. Nonetheless, you can't go wrong at the MinturnSaloon. Missing it during your visit to the Vail Valley would be like, well... WRONG. (Note: This "might" also be the favoritewatering hole/destination for those braving the off-piste Minturn Mile... Not that I would know or anything...) Read more

Old looking place, makes you think about, what to expect, and then comes food. Finger lickin good. You don't have to be hungry... to enjoy whatever you order. I had burrito, just as good as you get in Tijuana or in Edchadas in Yucca Valley. Read more

Amazing outdoor space during the summertime, as it is right next to the Eagle River. The inside is massive which I?m assuming... they do shows? They have to! Anyways, their drink selection is pretty broad but they make sure to advertise local Coloradowhiskey, which I always go for the 10th Mountain Whiskey ????. During the winter this place is a wild good time only being a fewmiles from Vail and I believe you can ski down to it if you are feeling adventurous. 11/10 would live at this place if I could.
