Service was very friendly and attentive, and everything was set up for us for our big group of 12 when we arrived! Very... accommodating for the vegetarians and gluten-free eaters of our group, and it was all traditional cabane a sucre food. Bringyour own wine was an added bonus as well. Had a great day and will be returning! Delicious tarte au sucre as well. Might not bethe best choice for families with many kids as there isn't anything else to do other than the meal and the tire outside. Read more

The choice of desserts was remarkable, the egg souffle was delicious, attention given to homemade ingredients and very clean... facilities. We chose this Cabane because it was the only one open on a Wednesday evening with a vegetarian option and had theplace almost to ourselves. Service was efficient and courteous but not very friendly. Vegetarian food was ordinary but okaccording to the vegetarians in our group. Although I get that people reserve and don't show up it's still questionable that youcan only reserve online (they don't answer the phone), must prepay directly in full and it's non-refundable and they stillcharge a fee /person on top of it. The fee is abusive. Unless the only day everyone is available is a week day when othercabanes are closed, I wouldn't go back. Read more

We were a large group, about 20. It was a work function. the drive up was relatively quick, so I would assume that it's close to... the city.. the tables where set, and the staff were ready for our arrival. They were warm, and helpful. We were served bread andbutter to start. Then we had soup.. yum! Then the meal.. also yum. Then desert, tart or pudding. We had a great time.. oh, andthe maple syrup was delicious. Read more

The vegetarian menu was a really nice touch which is why I gave this 2 stars. But the most of the dishes were bland and missing... taste. We were only offered a choice of two deserts while the website had multiple other choices... When we asked if we couldhave a second one, they declined. Read more

This review aims the vegetarian and vegan population but also families. I am glad this sugar shack offers a vegetarian menu,... this is a big step thowards an acceptance and comprehension of alternative lifestyles. This kind of possibility opens up to afuturistic sustainability and is amazing for any business to adopt even a slight part of this reality because it attracts alarge variety of clientele and believe it or not the word passes quickly especially within small and growing communities such asin a vegan one. Overall, they have been able to provide us with good service. The staff were nice and understanding.I would liketo point out a few improvements that could and should be made. We were eating with our non vegan friends who paid the exact sameprice but were offered a much wider variety of foods even thought their website cited otherwise. We were really satisfied withthe quality of food served, there was vegan croton, sausage and "ham" that were delicious and their pea soup, baked beans andpotatoes were good as well. We were expected to get at least the equivalent of eggs (scrambled tofu) which was mentioned intheir website upon request but we didn't get any of this. I had to come up a few times and remind them that we would like thevegan option even thought it was mentioned in our reservation requests. One of their servers didn't know if they had any kind ofplant milk for our coffee but in the end they gave us a carton box of almond milk which was nice. Also, their vegan dessert issweet fruit while the non vegan one is a pie with whipped cream. Would you think my 4 year old son wouldn't see the differencebetween the two? Vegan pie is easy and cheap to make but hey, we opted for only the tire d'érable at the end which was equallysatisfying, just not worth the money spent. Finally, I would love to see more entertainment or activities for families, an easyand affordable idea would be a kid corner with floating carpet and a few toys. They have a little Read more
