We visit Miramar about 4 times a year. Our first stop is always Acme Oyster House. They are the BEST oysters that are fresh... and hand chucked. The chargrilled are amazing. The staff is always wonderful and they have some great bartenders. I could notrecommend this place more. If it could give it a 10 star I would. Read more

Pretty solid food overall. I wouldn?t say it was quite up to New Orleans standards, but I really enjoyed the broiled oysters... and shrimp po-boy. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Read more
This was our first time trying this place and must say that I loved the fact that when we went there was no wait time and we... were seated right away. For our appetizer we had the crawl dip and added crab and that was just ok to us. I also got a cup ofthe seafood gumbo and that was an absolutely no. Do not get the gumbo it lacks flavor. Our drinks were pretty good the had thecoconut margarita and my husband just had Hennessey and pineapple juice. I absolutely enjoyed my half of dozen chargrilledoysters and for that I would about go back to this restaurant. My husband had the red beans and rice and he was not impressed. Visited on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. Not too crowded yet. Service was good and food came out fast. Margarita for only $10 was a... great deal and actually had tequila in it. Fish and shrimp were good. Highly recommend the potato salad as a side. And the frieswere crispy and not soggy. Will definitely be back when visiting Destin. Read more
