We visit Miramar about 4 times a year. Our first stop is always Acme Oyster House. They are the BEST oysters that are fresh... and hand chucked. The chargrilled are amazing. Pretty solid food overall. I wouldn?t say it was quite up to New Orleans standards, but I really enjoyed the broiled oysters... and shrimp po-boy. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Read more
This was our first time trying this place and must say that I loved the fact that when we went there was no wait time and we... were seated right away. For our appetizer we had the crawl dip and added crab and that was just ok to us. I also got a cup ofthe seafood gumbo and that was an absolutely no. Do not get the gumbo it lacks flavor. Our drinks were pretty good the had thecoconut margarita and my husband just had Hennessey and pineapple juice. I absolutely enjoyed my half of dozen chargrilledoysters and for that I would about go back to this restaurant. My husband had the red beans and rice and he was not impressed. Stopped for a n early dinner ~4:30ish. Was only 3-4 tables of folks. The staff were polite and engaging! We ordered some... traditional New Orleans fare including red beans and rice, jambalaya and gumbo. Food was good, came out hot, and served with asmile!! Read more
Food was soooo good! We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken right away. Our server was nice and attentive.... All the food was good! The charbolied oysters were good, fried alligator was delicious, and my PO boy was great. My drink wasstrong which was good!I definitely recommend this place. Read more
Visited on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. Not too crowded yet. Service was good and food came out fast. Margarita for only $10 was a... great deal and actually had tequila in it. Fish and shrimp were good. Highly recommend the potato salad as a side. And the frieswere crispy and not soggy. Will definitely be back when visiting Destin. Read more
