While you are paying for the cruise/view and not food that is clearly just reheated on the boat there are some improvements that... could be made for what was a $300 for two. First, we waited over 20 min for our waiter to come get our drinks orders. He nevertold us his name, he pushed for an appetizer order immediately. We received our appetizer before we ever received our drinkswhich weren’t complicated… 2 beers in the bottle. Second, there were ants all over the window and windowsill that we wereseated next to(we paid extra for a window seat). At the end of the night the waiter had my credit card for almost 45 min and wefinally got tired of just waiting at the table and missing the cruise part of our experience so we went to the top deck. When wecame back to get ready to disembark my credit card was just sitting on the table in view of any and everyone walking by. I guessmy point is don’t get too excited for a stellar dining experience but the cruise aspect is nice. I do feel like it isn’tworth the expense though. Read more

Micro beach wedding at a beach house planned from Seattle during COVID. Wildly successful - including the recommended vendors... Just Think Cake and Lauren Newman Photography. Angela nailed it. The flowers were AMAZING, the chef cooked a spectacular mealon site - all her design recommends were perfect. The directions are awful! Let me save you the time from driving in circles. This is a direct address to the restaurant on the... dock where you board: 8330 Mike Hayes Dr, Miramar Beach, FL 32550 The boating experience and entertainment was great but thebiggest issue is them calling it fine dining. The service and food is no where near what you would expect at a fine diningrestaurant. 1st course was a wedge salad with a stale piece of bread with nothing on it. For the 2nd course I had the shortribwhich was very dry and I couldn't finish it. 3rd was the cheesecake and that was really delicious. The drinks were inconsistentand sub-par. My experience on this cruise may be a bit different than others. I got married on this boat with about 100 guests on board. My... time was amazing. The crew was great, always at hand when needed. The captain was very polite and kind to all. The food wascooked to perfection and the view was beautiful all around. I do recommend taking this cruise, whether it be for a wedding orjust for dinner. Our dinner cruise on the Solaris was awesome!!! From the moment we got there to the very end we felt so welcomed and taken care... of. The service was fast and the food was great. To top it off the music was really fun and we even danced a little. It was suchan awesome night out and we plan on returning in the future! Everything was great until I received my check and it threw my entire mood off… The view was nice, the live band was great,... the food exceeded my expectation and I had a great time (3 hours was a little too long but it was a great time). We ordered alot of drinks and appetizers that wasn’t included in my $600+ (Because everyone paid for that separately), but to my surprisewhen I received my tab they charge an additional fee (almost $20) for me not carrying cash. Nowhere on the website out when youcall does it tell you that information and I doubled checked after receiving my tab and it really ticked me off. One of thewaitress said she’s never seen the few and I wasn’t made aware of that because I would have been sure to bringcash. Needless to say, overall experience was cool but it’s not cool that they did that but didn’t charge the people in myparty (who’s tab was less) that fee & the waiter/waitresses tip was affected. My husband and I were in a really stressful spot. We had canceled our big wedding due to the health of some of our family... members. We still desperately wanted to get married but could not find anything that wasn’t on beach or insanely expensive.Someone told us about Solaris and I am so so so happy we reached out. We eloped on the Solaris on 10/26 and it was the mostmagical, intimate moment ever. Truly beautiful. And Solaris went above and beyond for us. I couldn’t be happier with ourexperience. So much so that I think we will come back for our anniversary and we definitely want to try their fireworks cruise!PS the food was super delicious and you really can’t beat the ambience.
