Went twice in one week. Fabulous patio with awesome view of the river. Food is amazing. Perfect for sharing...tapas-style.
I guess they are trying, but.. Service took FOREVER! Pizza with prosciutto was like little bits of folded up ham on a big stale... cracker with a little tomato sauce. AND, they overcharged me which I am disputing with my Credit card company. Nice view andnice spot though. There are certainly worse places to waste you time and money. Read more
This is a small patio right on the river ? a lovely place to hang out with drinks and eats. We had the mussels in a tomato... sauce, which were great, and a really nice flatbread to share. This feels like a big-city bistro, with slightly upscale food, ina casual location. Staff were very friendly ? but also very very busy, so there was a bit of a wait for service. Read more
As someone who has worked in hospitality and can appreciate spending hard earned money at a restaurant that is highly acclaimed... this was far from a positive experience. For the prices and acclaim that this place has received this was a completedisappointment . The portion sizes were far from adequate to the prices they charged, the waitstaff did not give the ordercorrectly and the food was mediocre at best. For a $60 meal this was a very large waste of money. Read more
Great location and good food. This place has so much potential. It is a shame that Miramichi is not a tourist destination as... this place would have been packed and a lineup to get in. Sitting on the patio looking out at the river, the bridge in thedistance a small lighthouse makes for a great backdrop. The food was fresh and great for sharing. Service was friendly butlike everywhere right now a bit shorthanded. I will definitely try to get there again before the end of their short season. Read more
The 1 star is because we are very disappointed that you can't reserve a table on the outside deck this year. Without a... reservation, you will likely wait a long time, or you might not even get a table outside. The food is 4 star and we have alwayslooked forward to eating outside and enjoying the view from deck. If you have your heart set on eating outside, it might nothappen. Read more
Lovely views in summer. One of only about 3 restaurants in Miramichi worth going to. Menu is a bit limited currently, zero... chicken options, everything is seafood or pork with a few ?vegetarian? options. Local raft beers are on rotational draughts.Gets busy and no bookings unfortunately so may end up waiting a while for a table. Read more
The food was very good, but I can only give one star because I witnessed an indigenous group being refused service. They were... ahead of me in the line. They asked if there was room for a party of 8 and they were told no room. I was told there was a onetable on the patio available. I just thought I was lucky, sat down and placed my order. As I looked around, I noticed 2 tablesempty. There would have been room for the party of 8 who were before me. The tables remained empty for most of the time I wasthere. Read more
