We ate early, 530 pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was uncrowded - the waitress said that inflation, rising gas prices and... weed legalization have badly hurt their business. We had oysters, the large charcuterie platter, shrimp and vegetables stir fry,and shrimp scampi. All were well prepared with good quality ingredients. Within its start up year success was on the menu for this iconic location . The atmosphere is palpable as you walk into the warm... atmosphere and the large wooden door . The service is warm and welcoming , with the owners happy to come see your smile andacknowledge how they appreciate every patron as if they are long time friends . The delightful well plated and tasty dishes willleave nobody wanting . The appetizers have a style that is as classy as the wine selection . I highly recommend as a life longlocal or even as a traveling tourist the welcome will be the same for all . Read more
We had very wonderful dinner in Redwood Palace. The staffs were very nice. The ribeye was amazing. The ribs were good too but... unfortunately they were short of ribs so we got half of the pork instead. We definitely will visit this place next time when wetravel to here. Read more
This restaurant is home to the best steak I have ever had! If you are even halfway thinking about going here stop reading this... review and go now! Get the ribeye steak and you can send me a thank you card later. Also, the smoked duck on the charcuterieboard is divine! I love to sample different local eateries while on vacation. Seldom does a place warrant eating at multipletimes on the same vacation. We ate here twice and I personally will dream about the day that I can eat here again. This is most definitely the place to dine in town. The cuisine is "deliciously" prepared and the atmosphere is spectacular. And,... as myself, being a true Italiano with wine in my blood, from the original land of wine, the selection of area wines isimpressive. ???????????????? The place looks rustic, they say they're rustic, but the food is anything but. For instance, Heirloom Tomatoes w/ Goat Cheese,... Reduced Balsalmic Glaze & Micro Greens .... Plated like a fine dining establishment. The local grass-fed beef was so tasty, andcooked perfectly. And for all our orders, the serving size was plenty to satisfy after a day of hiking!
