Went here for the lunch special where you get miso soup, salad, and 3 rolls from a set menu for $14. The soup and salad were... good and everything came out fast. The service was also excellent. But the sushi itself, I cannot say it was that good. It didnot seem fresh, it was warm/room temperature when we got it and it was not filling, I was hungry maybe 3 hours later. Over the years, this has become my favorite local place for Sushi. In my early sushi days I was weary about trying anything raw... but I like adventure! and try to have something new or different when I go. Don't like Sushi? Me and my family’s first visit. The idea of eating sushi never appealed to me, but I’m getting to an age where I want to try... new things. Server was professional, but lacked personality. I’m not implying he was unfriendly, but part of an enjoyabledining experience for me is having a server who is personable and outgoing. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. $28(not including tip) fed three of us and we didn’t leave hungry. The interior has a nice, warm feel with plenty ofseating. Again, the food is very good. Whether this is your first time eating sushi or you’re a seasoned veteran, I’drecommend you give them a try. Read more
