Village Inn is a must-visit when in KC. Delicious breakfast, excellent pancakes. Granddaughter loved the blueberry pancakes,... daughter loved the pumpkin spice cakes. Bacon was crispy. Eggs were as ordered. Pescadarian daughter was able to order a veggieskillet to her liking. Great coffee. Only disappointment was how much the prices had gone up. Nothing under $10. Read more

This was an excellent breakfast. Nothing fancy...but nothing fancy needed. I got the California skillet and it really hit the... spot. My husband got a classic breakfast with eggs, 3 meats, and pancakes. We were both very pleased with our choices. The onlything that might need some improvement is the coffee...it was pretty weak. Otherwise...delicious!! Read more

Love this place. Been going since I was little! Everything is super good! Only thing that I have to remember is to ask not to be... seated in front of the kitchen. That's for me. Read more

I went to lunch with my daughter. I'd never been in the Village Inn despite working near it several times. It was quite tasty.... I had the chicken fried steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The white gravy was excellent and plentiful. I had enoughto cover the steak, mashed potatoes plus I had enough to sop my fresh biscuit. One daughter had baked chicken, potatoes, andgreen beans. The other had a chicken sandwich, crispy bacon and avocado and fries.. Everything was delicious. The waitresswas fast and courteous, making sure we had what we needed. The chocolate, peanut butter pie with caramel drizzle was a greatend to a wonderful meal. I had plenty of good coffee to go with my meal. Read more

I have driven passed this restuarant for months thinking one day I will have to stop and give them a try. Well today was the... day. I didn't have a lot of time but I wanted breakfast before work. I was a bit worried because the were on a wait when Ientered. The warm greeting made me stay. After maybe 10 minutes I was seated. The food took a little longer but it came out justin time for to enjoy and get to work. Very good fresh and satisfying. Now I must return for some of the delicious lookingdesserts Read more

Yet another Kansas City icon. Village Inn is best known for breakfast , served all day, it is a full service restaurant... offering up large portions of comfort foods for over 60 years. My grandfather introduced me to the Inn when I was small and Ihave many memories of him enjoying a stacks of pancakes and a cup of joe before work. Easy to find , plenty of free parking witha dinning room large enough that there is rarely a long wait even at peak times. Prices are more than reasonable and theportions are generous. I have always found the place to be clean with friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to save room fordessert! Bring your appetite and you won't be disappointed. Read more
