We had a catering by Bahar last Saturday night. They brought the food the time they promised. They set them up on the counter... and put warmers on them for when we are ready to serve. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. Thank you Bahar Read more
Bad food, dirty place. That is all I have to say. We ordered Koobideh and Ghorme. Both were cold. Ghorme was definitely... defrosted after a long time being in freezer. It was super sour, because the limes were crushed and left in it before freezing. Read more
We ordered the lamb kebab, and the stew with okra. They were tasty. It wasn’t the best Persian I’ve had, but it satisfies... the craving. Shirazi salad and Olivier salad for starters were good. I would def give it another shot. I would say the ambiencewas a bit too dark. I didn’t love the hard rice but my wife did. The okra dish felt like it could have been a bit thicker.The lamb was solid. Bahar provided catering for our wedding in June. While our main entree was provided by the venue (The Fashion Island Hotel), the... Bahar team provided our appetizers and executed our fruit table display. Mehrdad jaan and his team truly went above and beyondfor our family. We were very close to signing a contract with another well-known Persian caterer in Orange County, but were letdown with the quality of their food after attending a wedding that they catered. Mehrdad is highly professional and extremelyflexible. He met with my mother and I numerous times prior to our wedding and executed everything we requested, which was a lot!They had an appetizer display, charcuterie station, and additional tray passed appetizers. Their display was beautiful and thefood was FANTASTIC -- our guests were so pleased! They provided so much food that we had leftovers and never ran out ofanything. We also asked for the Bahar team to provide mini tacheens to come out with the main entree. Mehrdad was open to theidea and made it happen. This was one of our guests favorite details of our wedding! Their fruit display was beautiful, andabout 20% lower in cost than the other estimates that we received. Additionally, Mehrdad and team partnered with Sweet Lily'sBakery to incorporate Persian pastries on the table as well -- they even picked-up everything for us at no additional cost. Onthe night of, Mehrdad and his team worked extremely hard to bring our vision to life. Our venue and wedding planner lovedworking with them. Waitress was incredibly nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. Chicken dishes are yummy.
