I ordered to-go and put everything into a pot at home (only stuff ordered from Slice). About half way through my meal, I started... to notice tiny little black and grayish dots floating around, and it turned out I got a full pot of BUGS!!! I literally pickedout 25+ bugs (see attached pics) and I'm pretty sure there are still many more in there and I must have already consumed sometoo. This is the grossest dining experience. I remember seeing tiny black dots when I ate inside the restaurant too but itwasn't this many and I assumed it was spice or food crumbs. But in reality, when you look closely you can see they are bugs withlegs and bigger ones with wings. This made me believe this is not an issue just today but a on-going negligence for customer'shealth and food quality. You have been warned. I have confirmed that every tiny little black & grayish dots you see in thebroth turned out to be bugs. These tiny bugs can easily be missed, like even with 25+ bugs I didn't notice until I was alreadyhalf way through. Not sure if they came with the meat or broth. This used to be my favorite Shabu but I will never visit themagain after I realized how utterly unacceptable their health and food quality standard is! Read more

This was my first shabu shabu experience and it was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was... delicious and surprising. It is not cheap, but for a reason, you won't regret eating here. Read more
Generally have a good time each time I come here. Theres only 2 downsides: 1. 50% of the time I eat there (not an exaggeration),... the table gets old rice. Really ruins dinner. I need to remember to request fresh rice before they bring out our food to cook,though I shouldn't have to ask for freshish rice at a shabu place. 2. The vegetables are generally skimped on.
