Outstanding experience! Words are not sufficient to describe my experience working with Ancila while planning a get together at... the restaurant. Extremely cooperative, accommodating person. The food was awesome. Undoubtedly the batata vada took the first????. Every other item we had was very tasty. While discussion Ancila did mention whether we wanted a homely dish or restaurantflavor and we did a mix and match and it went perfect. This is a hidden gem. This restaurant doesn't welcome people, very rude and simply returns the people since they are incapable of handling. I went... there with family on Wednesday evening, found only two people eating, no other guest. When we were about to sit in a table,there came a rude voice, a lady walking towards us saying It will take 20 mins for her to come and talk to us for any order. Sothis how they even welcome people. We just left the place since it doesn't make any sense and she was rude. When we were closeto the door, She said loudly, It doesn't matters. It was so disappointing and felt the harassment, there is no reason for herto behave like that. Not sure why this people open restaurant, she doesn't know any Business ethics and even basics ofhospitality. If this the case, what quality of food we can expect in this brutal place. Read more

Amazing experience, delicious food, wonderful owner and staff. I love the concept that there is no menu. Ancila personally... comes to your table to understand and discuss your spiciness preferences, vegetarian/non-vegetarian options, and preferrednumber of dishes and prepares an absolutely perfect meal. I also love the social impact that this restaurant has, with a verystrong focus on supporting the local (and not so local) community with donations and fundraising support. Read more

Ancila is a warm, humble, and fabulous cook who treats you like a friend as soon as you walk in. Instead of a menu, she asks for... your spice and adventure level before proceeding to cook everything fresh and to order. We had the pleasure of hearing her storyand her approach to running this restaurant - truly a hidden gem providing a unique, authentic experience. We left with fullbellies and a full heart.
