This restaurant never follows instructions on the order. I ordered spicy basil shrimp (semi dry). The restaurant charged me... extra for the semi dry option. What they delivered was shrimp floating in red gravy. I called the restaurant and brought it totheir attention. The girl who answered the phone checked with the cook. This is what they said to me "Yes mam, the cook preparedthe dish as semi gravy but the gravy increases when packed. Why don't you reduce the gravy to your liking yourself." Not oncecould they apologize, but just kept arguing with me. I told the girl I will be posting this on social media and she replied yes,go ahead. I am attaching a picture so that people can decide whether they served the dish as semi gravy or the gravy justmultiplied within the container on its own. Learn customer service. Why wasn't I introduced to this place earlier??? Hakka Chilli is now my favorite spot for Chinese that tastes exactly like the... one in Mumbai. We ordered Butter Fried Chicken...the first bite of it and there was my verdict! The best Hakka Chinese tasteever in Mississauga! I was a fan of Salt n Pepper but not anymore... This is a tough one to write as you can see the hospitality is great. They do actually check on you and make u very... comfortable. However the food was gross. I won't eat here again. I've eaten garlic chicken at a number of establishments neveronce has it been red. It tasted like seasoned pasta sauce. It was sweet not savoury. The rice was really long grain but had avery distinct texture. I'm wondering if this is the rice we see being made out of plastic as there was no smell and no flavourto it. I tried it by itself to see if I was wrong. The people are very kind there. But in regard to the food, I've had frozendishes better than this. Will not return. Read more
