Overall it was pretty good. Tasty and fresh food (their salmon tasted awesome!), the service was okay (would have liked it to be... a bit faster), fair price for an AYCE lunch sushi place on a Saturday ($29.99). The inside looks very aesthetically pleasing and the staff is quick to respond but food took forever to get to the table. The... food however was truly disappointing, the chicken smelled fresh, the beef was overly chewy and the fish just didn't taste right.Not to mention it was over a 30 minute wait for our orders of steamed dumplings and not even half of what we ordered arrived. We visited for the first time on a Friday night around 9pm. We were seated immediately and all the servers were very attentive... to us, despite the full and busy restaurant. Everything we ordered came surprising fast, we tried a bit of everything and it wasall decently good! Just went there today. not so many people for luch. service is friendly. the food is also fresh, but tast is different from... before, since they use machine for maki rolls to put rice on the seaweed sheet. tempuras are little too soft. the prices aremuch higher than before. so more expentation than before. Wonderful sushi buffet restaurant. The place is huge and decorared beautifully. Food is variable and delicious. The baked vessel... and sashimi are one of the highly recommended dishes. The server is friendly and fast! Worth the price and will come back! Read more
We have been wanting to try this all you can eat sushi place for a while, and finally got a chance to come here. Was definitely... not disappointed by the quality of food and the selection that they had to offer. The sashimi and raw food was super fresh, andthe cooked and fried food were quite tasty. Needless to say we all left feeling very full. The service was also great which madethe experience even better. We ordered a number of dishes just to try everything out and there?s really no complaints for any ofthe dishes. We definitely saved room for dessert, and we tried the mango pudding as well as the various ice cream selections. Myfavourite was definitely the mango pudding, definitely should try. Out of all the dishes I liked all the raw foods, such as thesashimi, they were fresh and they also offered a great portion. Whether you?re looking for a restaurant for a date or a familydinner, I would highly recommend coming to heart Sushi. The price was reasonable for the quality of food would definitely comeback! Food is good but not spectacular. Service is quite slow and portions are quite small if you?re going with all you can eat so... keep hitting that ?customer send? button every time you add something to the order. We ordered in the first 20 minutes or so buthad small portions of food arrive over 1.5 hours or so on a not so busy night. The $37 per person (on Sundays and holidays) isokay pricing wise. The ice cream at the end is nice. Try the mango ice cream, it?s worth it. Read more
I hadn?t been to Heart in a couple years and going back was a bit lacklustre for us. Our table was sticky and the iPad was so... dirty and damaged. Also the wasabi/ginger they supplied was dried out and literally hard. It also took probably 20-30 min forfood to finally start coming out other then rice. For some reason they kept bringing us rice after rice that we didn?t evenorder but nothing else. The portions are also very tiny. The salmon sushi was awesome, the miso soup was delicious and superhot. The shrimp tempura was a good size and was more shrimp then batter which is always good. The actually crispy spicy salmonsushi was so tiny, compared to other restaurants it was so small. The chicken balls were also the smallest I?ve ever seen. Youcan see them in the photo with the French fries, along with the smallest portion of ketchup I?ve ever seen. The Shirley Templewas alright, it was pretty watered down though and the ice cream was ice cream haha it was fine. Just a tip and heads up, bringcash! You get 10% off when you pay with cash. Read more
