I went to Momiji for lunch with my husband and it was great. First of all, service was amazing. Victor was quick to get our... orders and served us drinks and miso soup while we waited. Food also came out in a very timely manner. We ordered the blue finbelly tuna sashimi and it tasted heavenly. Just the right balance between fatty and lean. We?ve had blue fin belly tuna beforeat other restaurants and the one at this restaurant is clearly superior. Highly recommend. We also ordered sushi combo. Itcomes with some sushi, sashimi, and tempura. THE TEMPURA was the highlight of the meal. Light, crispy, and not oily at all. Allof the tempuras were amazing, but my favourite was the sweet potato tempura. It has the perfect blend of crispy, sweetness, andbite to it. Our last order was the Japan roll. The roll has a nice balance between rice and filling. It was a little spicy forme, but my husband loved it. TLDR - 10/10 would recommend. Amazing service and food. Read more
I tried this place for the first time over my favourite sushi places. It was on Saturday May 14 at 7:30 pm. I called ahead of... time to make a reservation as I use to every time, but when I got there with my family we were the only customers at that time.Later on another table was occupied. The place is small and the service is average to low, even though there was no othercustomers. The food was good with good presentations but not extraordinary. We always order the spicy seafood udon, and their tempura isthe best I?ve had. Always made fresh, and the batter is perfectly light!
