I haven't even been inside the store and I'm already giving it one star. I'm having a party on Thursday and I wanted wagyu... steaks. I called once, no answer, second time he picked up and hung up immediately, then a third time he sounded annoyed andessentially told me "well it's better if you come in I cant do this over the phone" and hung up. Very disrespectful and hedidn't even know how much food I was gonna buy from him. Oh well I'll just go somewhere else! DONT GO HERE. Read more
Wonderful place, great cuts and interesting little gems to find here! Plenty of sauces and some tasty fresh foods here as well.... Clean and great signage, costly I would say but worth checking out for sure! Read more
Always a great experience and friendly service at this neighborhood butcher / gourmet shop. Working from home and living in the... neighborhood this is my go to spot for lunch. Their hot table serves up a delicious assortment or ready made meal options for anaffordable price. The frozen pre-made meals, pizzas and the homemade soups are excellent as well . Read more
Ironically, we went to get steaks... and then we picked up everything else we needed for dinner as well! And, the steaks were... fantastic! The staff was very present and helpful. This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back! Everything in thepicture, except the seafood and the Hollandaise sauce, came from that one visit! I?m a big steak guy and I purchased the best Tomahawk I?ve ever had at Not Just Steaks. Since then I have discovered a ton of... other fantastic cuts and drive from Oakville to visit weekly now. Try the marinated jerk chicken thighs, coconut lime chicken,Korean short ribs and famous burgers. Most importantly, Frank is an honest guy with a ton of experience and a really friendlypersonality. The name says it, Not Just Steaks. They have a great hot table with food cooked (not warmed) on site. They also have a great... selection of frozen meals that you can take home, also prepared on site. And speaking of steaks, they have organic meats and dryaged steaks.
