I attended a post funeral lunch here. I was amazed at the ambiance and looks of this restaurant. Very classy place! I?ve... visited many restaurants in NYC and this gem in Canada is second to none. I had the prime rib which is probably one of the bestservings of prime rib I?ve had in a long time. It almost makes you want to order a double dish, haha! My double espressotasted early identical to a coffee I would get on Arthur ave in the Bronx. I hope to visit here again soon on a betteroccasion. I?d love to try other dishes since they hit a home run with the prime rib. Read more
A fantastic lunch coupled with impeccable service made our day. We ordered an arugula salad with pear and stilton cheese;... sauteed veal liver topped with a sherry sauce, accompanied with potatoes and steamed vegetables; a veal cannelloni; andprofiteroles with ice cream and a hot chocolate sauce, complete with an espresso. The menu is lean which is often an early signof a good restaurant. Everything was well-priced. Service was outstanding and we were taken care of from the moment we arrivedto when we departed. Very good but inoffensive flavour. Needed had more spices or seasoning in both the Duck Confit and Bison Steak with fig. I've... had better flavour for far less elsewhere. Still it's inoffensive and there's a large selection. Vegetables and potatoes wereuninspired. Read more
Fine Italian dining in Mississauga. Great atmosphere. Great food. Friendly staff. Rumor has it that this place will be closing... down in a year and they're not sure whether they will reopen. Due to that I highly recommend dining here while they are stillaround because once they're gone, you'll never get to experience everything that is piatto bistro. Read more
