The new owner is absolutely the nicest man!! His lentil soup is so delicious & he was even so sweet to give me a sample of rice... to try, which was also very tasty!! The inside is so clean. My friend said that the falafels are amazing, so I will definitelybe ordering those to try next, but I am confident that they will be the same quality & deliciousness as the soup andrice. Local gem! I used to come here weekly pre-COVID, just visited again after years of working from home and I’m so glad they’re... back! I was immediately impressed by the bright, clean renovation, and how patient and helpful the staff were in serving thecustomers ahead of me. The veggies were so fresh, and the food was even better than I remember. The family running it isextremely kind and I felt like I was being treated to a meal in their home. They even offered a sample of their lentil soupwhich was an authentic middle eastern recipe. I don’t come into the office often but when I do, I will be coming here everytime :) Read more
I work in this area and decided to stop by Pita Lite for lunch. At first sight, this restaurant was very clean! It was my first... time eating at this chain and the worker (forgot their name) was incredibly kind and patient with me as I ordered. The food wasalso fresh and flavourful! It's definitely one of the healthier restaurants in the area. I ordered the souvlaki plate this timebut I look forward to trying the other menu options. This was my first time trying Pita Lite. I had a chicken shawarma on rocks ($10) and did not like it at all. The chicken did not... taste fresh, the frozen fries were super soggy and the sauces were very bland. It did not look very appetizing, way too muchoil/liquid on everything, I got sick after eating it and will definitely not be coming back here any time soon. The place wasclean inside and the staff was friendly. There is lots of parking available nearby and service was fairly quick, was in and outin 10 minutes. Went yesterday with my boyfriend and while waiting for our food we were given to try lentils soup. I’m not a fan of eating... soups from restaurants but you will not go wrong with the lentils soup from here! Very tasty, well seasoned! We also got beefand lamb plate. The lamb was well done that you can separate it from the bone with ease. Beef was also very well seasoned. Bigportions worth the money! The owner is very friendly and polite.
