I felt cheated. This restaurant has frauds who should be held accountable for their actions. Please see pictures as proof of my... review. The note on the top of the container is written by them without any compensation. I ordered ?The works chickenshawarma?. It comes with potato wedges and nut salad. I paid extra for sauteed veggies as well. However they failed to give meanything barring rice with onion and fries. It tasted as if a novice chef had cooked. It barely had chicken. It did not havesalad and potato wedges at all. I am horrified at this conduct. The staff should have the decency to cancel the order if theyran out of stock or could have called, they chose neither. For starters the food is amazing, everything is made fresh and served with kindness. This restaurant is also very affordable and... has great prices. First time having Pita Nutso in almost a decade and it's just as good if not better than I remember! Very happy to see that... their quality and consistency has held up over the years unlike some of those "other" shawarma spots. Owner sometimes serves as an employee for us. Very friendly and always looking to chat. If you are a regular, he will sometimes... give discounts or add a drink for free. Chicken on Rice is great for a decent price. Pita bread is served with therice. Sandwich combo is also nice. Fries are fresh. My INITIAL Reaction: When my friend and I first walked into Pita Nutso, we missed the lunchhour rush and met Ali. He said to us, "You'll miss the shawarma" as we were walking out the door and planning to check outanother restaurant. That stuck around in our minds, so we immediately came back to Pita Nutso and decided to give it a shot. Aswe got ready to place orders, we soon realized that this was the real deal. Ali was preparing a fresh shawarma stack and it wasclear how focused he was on caring to every single detail of a customer's order. Getting The Food: My friend and I ordered "theworks" shawarma platter. This platter was filled to the brim with fresh, fluffy rice, lots of chicken, crispy potato wedges,pita bread, and a fragrant salad on the side. The chicken was fresh, seasoned well, juicy, and just the right amount of crispy.It was complimented by a flavourful yellow rice Ali had just made on the stove. It wasn't drenched in oil, retained it'sfluffiness, and helped to balance the saltiness of the chicken. There was also a garlic sauce and a spicy sauce which were added(based on customer preference). Ali placed the perfect amount and made sure not to drown the entire meal in sauce which oftenruins the overall experience. Now this, by itself, was already perfect. But this platter had much more! The salad had thisdelicious raspberry vinaigrette that cut through the heaviness of the rice, chicken, and potato wedges.
