Wowww !! First time having this, definitely not my last? Ordered a large oxtail, rice & peas, jerk chicken wings, festival &... mango carrot to drink. I must say I?m surprised with how amazing everything I ordered was !! The oxtail was soft & fall off thebone, the jerk chicken wings were sooo deliciously seasoned & even the festival was sooo addicting, it?s a good thing I went for3 instead of 1 festival. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I live down the street too & it?s about timethere?s a Jamaican spot closer to home !! ???????????????????? Read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place. The aesthetic is clean & nice. The service was great, girls were really friendly. BUT the... food?.. was a huge disappointment. There?s literally no flavour. Everything tasted fresh. It?s like they don?t have salt intheir kitchen. Nothing was seasoned. Rice & peas: bland BBQ chicken: bland, tasted like bottled bbq sauce and it?s not evenboned chicken. Was like it?s just chicken breast cut up. Coleslaw: bland Yikes. Will not be returning & wouldn?t recommend. This is not the flavour of Jamaican food. Read more

First time here and will definitely be coming back! Had the small jerk chicken plate with coleslaw and a side of plantain. Big... portions, chicken was flavourful, and I loved the plantain. Good service. Read more

Portion for the price 4/5 Customer Service 4/5 Environment 5/5 Wait time 5/5 coleslaw taste-1/5 Meat portion 4/5 Meat taste... 2/5 Sauce on rice taste 2/5 Price for portion 4/5 fair Rice 4/5 Review : I ordered Jerk chicken with rice and peas withcoleslaw. The coleslaw was enough to feed 5 people (feedback- cut down on the coleslaw portion it way too much). Honestly therewas nothing Jerked about the chicken, this is the worst Jerk chicken I have ever tasted. Sorry they need to fix their recipe,it's was too wet. I honestly cannot called this Jerk chicken the tasted was hard to eat and the sauce on the rice didn't helpeither. The Coleslaw was fresh but had no taste. Read more

Ordering was quick and easy, staff was very helpful in explaining what was the item I ordered. Finding a place to sit was quick... as it was past noon on a weekday. I ordered a Jerk Chicken Sandwich which was by default spicy and definitely had a lot of kickto it. Luckily it came with a pop or water which helped. The portions to price reasonable as well. Definitely would go backagain to try other different items on the menu. Read more

Checkout Roywoods to enjoy some delicious Caribbean food???? It?s the perfect spot for locals to sit and feel the Toronto street... vibe at each of their locations! ???? It truly is the home of the Jerk Chicken because it tasted fire ???? Their hot sauce is amust try (it is spicy tho!) ???? they are located near Holt Renfrew on the second level & we love how this area is secluded fromeverything else. From the menu we ordered the Jerk Chicken Plate, Escovitch Fish Plate, Coleslaw Side and the Ackee SaltfishRolls (our ultimate favourite). The service was great, everyone was so kind to us, we?ll be back to try their vegetarian optionssoon ???? Read more

One of the best jerk chicken and oxtail plate I've had in the city. if you like spicy food, you got to ask for their home made... hot sauce on the side. Service is fair but the food is just delicious. The place is actually located in Gate 4 and not in Gate7. Patty is pretty good as well Read more
