We went to the new location on Eglinton/Ridgeway. It was a bit salty and stale. Service is okay, but the workers maybe are... new... They ran out of hummus and tahini which is strange for a shawarma joint, and forgot Pomegranate molasses sauce(which isthe main specialty that distinguishes from other shawarma joints). Just your average shawarma shop I went to the North York location and was in Mississauga so I decided to stop off here. The only... thing that was disturbing was the Carver's or the gentleman stuffing the shawarma's would do what I think is an ignorant move.I'm standing there and few other customers with our receipts to pick up our food and they purposely bring it to the cashregister. I don't know the point of that but find it a little weird as I was ready to hand my receipt to pick up my shawarma andhe had to bring it to the cash register. The food is good, the drinks not cold enough, the workers was nice but i have some concern: - the workers need more hygiene... practices & GPP, four men working there only one of them put hair net and others not hair net and beard net !! - They need toclean the front door and the display windows and change some dirty paper, same thing the sidewalk for the store as you can seeit in the pictures If you are wondering why i didn?t take a picture for the workers because i respect the privacy Read more
We ordered the Family Platter from Shawarma Royale and it was really good. It consists of 4 chicken shawarmas cut up, served... with fries, chicken, pickles, peppers, and some dips. The quantity is quite generous for the price and I would definitelyrecommend it for a group of 4-5 people. The service was friendly and pretty quick. My parents did a take out from here to treat us. I m not a big fan of shawarma but from presentation i tried and i loved it so... much. They order Family Platter and we all enjoyed it. I had a birthday party today and chose to order the food from them. I?m so happy that me and my friends liked the food. It... tastes so good, and it looks amazing. I ordered a mix family platter with 36 falafel pieces. I asked them if I can bring a platefor the falafel and they did it for me, the staff were so nice and friendly.
