2 stars because staff was pretty nice, but the food itself was not great. $12 for cheese with the same texture as rubber, overly... salty gravy, and also the poutine has an odd plastic smell to it. Great stop to try poutine. We ordered the double pork and avalanche that came packed with all of the meat choices.

I payed $15.24 for the buffalo grilled chicken poutine. In my opinion, the cheese felt like I was chewing on rubber and the... chicken was softer than tofu. That?s usually not my type of vibe when I get a different type of poutine and honestly my moneywould have been spent better at New York fries. The poutine that I got literally was one of the highlighted ones on thewallpaper at Smokey?s and it did not deliver at all. Poutine didn?t feel filling either because my stomach took 5 minute breaksbetween bites because of how much the poutine was flooded with the buffalo sauce. Really disappointed with my poutine. Don?t buydrinks here either, they really are scamming you for the soft drink. Only reason it?s 2 stars instead of a 1star is becauseservice guy was a nice person. Read more

Was walking by this store today and they were doing a promotion today. The staff outside invited me in to try out the Poutine.... Loved it !!! Even though they were busy but the lady at the counter was very polite and served with a pleasant smile. She askedme later if I liked it and even thanked me for coming. I visited this location and ordered a Philly Cheese Steak poutine and asked if I was able to get a cup of water on the side. ... One of the staff at the register, an older man (possibly the owner or manager?) moved to get me a bottle of water from thebeverage fridge and I clarified that I would prefer a cup of water, rather than a bottle. He told me that they did not have anycups. Interestingly, right after he said this another, younger, worker at the cash tried to tell him that we did have cups forwater. However, the old man told him to be quiet and reaffirmed to me that they did not have any cups of water available. Idon't know if this was just a tactic to try to get me to buy an overpriced bottle of water but I found it quite suspicious.Suffice to say, I will not be visiting this location again. The poutine tastes sooooo delicious!! It was nice and HOT and fresh when I got it! I went to pick it up and the gentleman inside... seems to have been working alone. The chicken bites were just ok (that's why I gave a 4 and not a 5)... They didn't taste freshbut I'm sure if u have small kids they will like the bites! Read more
