The food here is pretty good and tasty. I got the Gyro and while it didn't look like it had bbq crispy bits, it was gyro... tasting. Staff here was quick and prompt. Me and my friends like to enjoy our food out in the huge parking lot with campingchairs. Nothing beats eating good food with friends in a camping like atmosphere even tho there's cars parked all around. Justhave in under the trees on the side. Stay safe out there my friends! Read more
The place was empty, nice and spacious. The menu is very limited. We ordered the beef and chicken gyro. It wasn't that great.... The meat lacked some bang or wow factor. The rice was just normal boiled rice with colour in it (they could do much better). Thehot sauce wasn't spicy at all and the white sauce was just ok. There was too much of tomatoes and lettuce in it. Tried the chicken sandwich for the first time I would say this place is overhyped The chicken was dry Didn't liked the bread... either So coming to their famous white sauce which is ok ok not extraordinary The only reason to give it two stars,coz of thehard working guy who made my sandwich Tried his best with the customer service but can't blame him since the food is not uptothe mark . Love the beef gyro platter. It's bit pricey for the quantity, but I can't help it, I love the taste. I'm leaving 4 stars despite... my last two delivery orders having stale lettuce. Quality control seems to be an issue at this branch. I got refunded for bothorders, but that is not the point guys. I want to order again, I love the bowl, but you need up the game and send fresh stuff. Iwill place a third order in coming days to check if stale lettuce hits a hattrick. Read more
We first tried the halal guys in NYC at their famous food truck. since then we have been to this Mississauga branch a couple of... times. Simple menu but great food! They have small and regular sized platters. We went it to have the chicken platter. Friendlystaff and the quality and quantity are both upto the mark. We always go for an extra drizzle of their famous white sauce. Thetoppings are always fresh and savory. They also have their signature hot sauce which can be added on top or they can give you asmall sachet to drizzle on later. I would recommend this place to all those who love grilled meat served with rice and salad.Highly recommend this location. Read more
What amazed me the most about Halal Guys was how light I felt after eating. The reason I?m bringing this up is because this type... of food has the tendency to leave you either super full or bloated. I ordered a lamb and chicken gyros platter and everythingwas perfectly balanced, well seasoned, and not strong in taste. As a take out option I definitely will be returning here! Read more
Went here for a late-night bite. It's a small location with limited seating and a limited menu, but overall it was a good... experience. I ordered the beef gyro which was alright. The meat was cooked well and the wrap complimented the gyro quiteexcellently. Only thing is perhaps the meat could be seasoned a little more generously as it was rather plain and brought downthe food experience. Now, talking about the service, it was exceptional. Extremely friendly and outgoing staff that go out oftheir way to meet the expectations of their customers. If this place was based on food alone it would be a 3/5, but the servicebrings it up a whole-level. Take that as you will. Read more
Been meaning to try out Halal Guys in Canada ever since I had the original cart in NY many years ago, and finally got the chance... today! Although the vibe and quality was not on par with the OG in NY, this one was pretty good overall! The food was fresh andplentiful and the famous white sauce was spot on! Have I had better chicken shawarma and beef gyro? Yes. But this was worthtrying out regardless. The service was friendly and fast, the lady working there even did a walk around after to offer moresauce and ask us how the food was. The location was very clean, including the bathrooms. Read more
