I had the Social Club with the upgrades truffles fries with garlic oil which was a large portion and tasted pretty good. Only... thing was the fries were not that hot when it came out, it wasn't even earn enough to melt the cheese on it. The tables are alittle close and they seemed to have quite a few servers and they were friendly but observing mistakes from orders I am guessingthat possibly they were relatively new. Otherwise, my only other suggestion is to have more options for people who have glutenor vegetarian dietary restrictions. Read more

Located in one of the under appreciated areas of Etobicoke - my girlfriend and I went to Union Social and were very impressed.... The ‘vibe’ of the interior is very nice, with lighting warm and not too bright - comfortable chairs and not obscenely loudmusic. We went on a Monday - and they seemed to have underestimated the size of a particular party of people that were there(at least 12 people) and we could tell that was causing some disruptions in service, which is completely understandable. We gotour food in a reasonable time, not to fast and definitely not too slow. The point of going to a restaurant is to be able to sitdown and talk with who you’re with, and enjoy your time. The server who was helping us, was also very nice - she did anexcellent job considering the circumstance that she was helping a massive group of people. The food, was also very good - andthe display of the food as it arrived was also a more ‘higher end’ style for sure. Overall, the food and service isdefinitely worth the price - two meals and a beverage were $44 dollars - I can obviously speak on the food we ate, howevereverything else on the menu sounded quite interesting and was happy there were enticing vegetarian options on the menu. Good vibes with decent food. The service was good. An order was cooked incorrectly so the restaurant let her order something... else off the menu for free. They also gave them a discount on the bill. Ordered the almond crusted chicken tenders with trufflefries. highlight was the chicken with the crunchy outside and juicy meat inside. The sauces for dipping weren't good. The best fish & chips I've ever had!!! Hands down award winning batter. This batter is light, Crispy and perfectly cooked and... tasted just fantastic. If you want fish & chips this is the place. BTW the fries were pretty good too super fresh. My wife gotthe roasted mushroom burger and ate all of it which never happens. Pleasantly surprised! Set in a very industrial area, we were hoping for a basic roadhouse, but found an excellent mod pub with... trendy, delish appys and mains. Worth the trip if u live around there and def worth the 5 minute walk from the nearby hotels.This pic is the extreme cheese burger with three kinds of cheese and Candy Nut salad, both great. The staff here really makes the difference. Really personable and outgoing. Food is great too. I had the blackened salmon, which... was fantastic. On previous visits, I've had the chicken wings and chicken tacos, which were also great. Read more
