Great beer! 5 bucks for a flight is unbeatable. I would recommend the Huck-it and their Pilsner

This review is more for the amphitheater: Big Sky Amphitheater is a nice venue with a solid sound system but the hustle involved... charging $8 for a beer is definitely bamboozling their client base. For example, during live music events, Big Sky "donates" thebeer to partners like Five Valleys Land Trust, marketing that the sales go to "charities". Beers next door are around $4 butwhen you go into the venue, you have to purchase tokens from FVLT for $8 a piece that can be exchanged for a beer. Now, Iunderstand a small markup for a beer at a live event but doubling the price of beer that is donated is definitely a hustle, especially when using "charities" as a smokescreen. I thought the idea of keeping things in house was to keep it economical forthe community but it seems Big Sky Amphitheater is running a very similar system as Nick Checota and Log Jam Presents. I don'tknow who determines the markup amount but I will no longer go to Big Sky's events and seek small venues that promote local actsthat have reasonable prices for drinks. Read more

Great place, cool environment. Try Moose Drool or the peach tea seltzer!

I tried three different beers. Moose drool, Huck it and Shake it. Enjoyed them all. Staff was friendly. The only ding I would... give this place is there really isn't any outdoor space to enjoy a beer. There are some picnic tables on the side of thebuilding for a few people. All in all enjoyed it. Fantastic beer selection with seasonal fruit flavors. There were tons of indoor and outdoor seating options and some of the... kindest staff I?ve encountered. I was impressed by the subtle branding and high quality of the merchandise too. Some days theyhave a food cart on site otherwise there is no food service. The industrial location had easy on off access to the highwaymaking it a headache-free stop on my road trip through Missoula. Read more

Stopped at Big Sky Brewing, home of Moose Drool. Super nice people - so friendly. The beers were excellent. I had the hazy... IPA but I filled the growler with Drool for later. It was a little on the cool side today so we didn?t sit on the patio but itlooked nice. Just off I90 so it?s easy to find. Highly recommend. Read more

Cool building, good brews, and awesome staff! This place was kids friendly and had decent brews. They have a merch store that... has some cool stuff but it was a bit overpriced for me. I'm talking $80 for a hoodie. Other than that this is a pretty neatplace definitely worth a visit! Read more

Had been here a couple times before on quick overnight stays in Missoula MT. Was on a trip to Missoula during 9/23/20-9.26/20... and had visited in the afternoon of 9/24/20. Disappointed at how the taproom had been changed. No longer doing free tastings andthe amount of merchandise they sell seems to have declined too since creating a seperate gift shop room. Was also disappointedthey walled off the 2nd level from seeing the production facility. Staff friendliness was decent. Beer still tasted greatthough! Read more
