The food and service were great, but the room was absolutely freezing. The temperature had to be below 60 degrees. Our toes... were as cold inside, with warm snow boots on, as they were on a hike during the afternoon in 15° weather. And it didn?t changeafter we asked about the temperature. Having a nice meal in freezing temperatures, kind of takes away the joy. Read more

The food was pretty good here. Bread comes with practically a whole block of grated cheese on top, yum. Lots of entrees to... choose from with some good vegetarian options. The caprese appetizer and the Bolognese were pretty good. The place was busy, waited about 20-25 minutes good a table on a Thursday night, so the service was a little hectic but everything came out right! Read more

Came here marathon weekend. It was very busy, as expected, but the entire staff - from the host to the busser - were incredible.... Loved the open communication from the kitchen. Total pros back there. The pasta Ravenna was incredible, as were the sides andappetizers I enjoyed. Fantastic wine selection. Fantastic service through and through; especially for such a busy evening! Willhappily be back. Read more

First time here. Thought it was a great restaurant. The taste was not bad but I?m not sure if the food was edible. Got so upset... cuz I found issues with both the pasta and the side. The green vegetables in the pasta were too old, and I don?t think I coulddigest them. One of the six shrimps in the side contained a lot of sands, and another contained slight amount of sands too. Haveno idea how the food was prepared. Disappointed :( Read more

Food was delicious and service was great as well. I forgot our server's name but she was really nice. Everyone was actually... pretty attentive to us and made us feel very welcomed. They have crayons to make art ???? on your table and it's showcased onthe ceiling after. My daughter really enjoyed that part. We went here because this is my niece's favorite spot. Her favorite isthe spaghetti and meatballs ????! Glad I got to experience this place. Oh and the music was jammin too!! Read more

Ciao mambo has served some of the best pasta in Missoula for years, and I've been coming to get fettuccine alla rustica here for... the whole time. I love the ambiance, the servers writing names on the wax paper tablecloth as well as the pictures over theyears. There is just something special about popping into Ciao on a chilly winter day to be warned up by delicious pasta andrelaxed by the deep wine color of the walls. On the night I decided to review, I had egg drop soup, a Bayern Winter Lager, fettuccine alla rustica (my favorite pasta in Missoula, made with chicken and shrimp in a Pecorino Romano blended aged whitesauce with peas and prosciutto), and for dessert Zappolis with chocolate, huckleberry, and caramel dipping sauces. It wasfreezing outside and this meal made me feel warm and alive. I appreciate Ciao Mambo, and enjoy it as a Missoula staple. If youtry it, you will too. Read more

Absolutely love this place! The staff is friendly, on point and does their best to ensure food and drink gets out in a timely... fashion, even when they are busy. Which is basically always! Both times I have been here, I had the Pasta Ravenna, which is justdelightful. Their nachos are also to die for. Read more
