Food and ice cream is good, but they are never there for the posted hours. So many different days of the week I've tried, but... drive thru is either closed or they shut it down before the customers that have been waiting in line for 30+ minutes haveactually been served. I understand the being understaffed, and I have worked in restaurants. Such a shame. I won't bereturning. UPDATE: Decided to give the Dearborn location one more chance. Online hours show open until 10 for drive through.Nope. Get there at 9:05 and they have the same sandwich board from 2 months ago out with a handwritten note that drive thruclosed at 9 tonight. I managed takeout and delivery for Mustard Seed through covid and the reopening, and this is a behaviorcorporate would have fired us over. The employees may not like their jobs, but they keep doing this and I won't be surprisedwhen this big shiny expensive location they built closes their doors for good. Their chicken strip basket is incredibly awesome. However, the last two times I've dined in at this particular location, I've... asked for no sauces with my order, and both times they've given me fry sauce and ketchup with my food (both of which I promptlythrow in the trash). It really irritates me whenever I want my order to be the way I want it, but they give me condiments Inever want in the first place. I may still swing by for a Blizzard (they never get those wrong when I order them) but I thinkI'll be taking a pass on ordering my go-to lunch/dinner order for a while until they get the memo that I don't want ANY kind ofcondiments (fry sauce or ketchup) with my chicken strip basket. We got there about 10 minutes before closing and they locked the door behind us. No biggie right. We are the last people in... line. A dark haired girl with a headset came up from the back and was trying to take the till out of register 5 minutes beforeclosing. The nice gal behind the counter kept trying to explain to her the doors were already locked and we were the lastcustomers before the lobby closed. I proceeded to tell her I was paying with a card and our order was short. She just continuedto cop and attitude with me and treat me very rudely. The blizzards and ice cream were heavenly and the very sweet gal who tookour order was very kind but looked like she hated her job! Don?t treat your coworkers and customers so terribly?. All Dairy Queen's are the same, I'm assuming you know this. My family and I love Dairy Queen, great prices, great soft serve.... The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is the lack of staffing. It's not their fault, the staff there did the best they could giventhe circumstances. After waiting in line for some time, 2 employees came out and told us that the people before us were the lastto be server. That they didn't have enough staff to stay any longer. Again, not their fault but I believe the right thing to dowould have been to serve the line to the end at that point, not turn away people that had been waiting... Read more
I set the bar low when I go to a DQ, but the women taking our order was struggling. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough... blizzard, but she gave me a chocolate chip blizzard no cookie dough. Not the end of the world but was mildly bummed. Everythingelse 5/5. (no reason for 70¢ ranch) Read more
The chili dogs where quite okay. I personally like wienerschnitzel's better but these have a thicker chilli so many will like... these better I think. The sad part is I can't get the chilli on a burger or fries. Sad bears be sad. Continuing onto theirburger. The bun was good. Unlike most buns here in Missoula Montana it doesn't taste stale. Sadly this was the best part of theburger. It looks far better then it tastes as it tastes frozen even when warm. The fries are nothing to right home about butbetter then Windy's. Read more
These are the bananas we got with our kids meal today 1/3/2022 at the dearborn location. I would rather my kids be told the... bananas aren't ripe and have them pick something else than be served bananas they want to eat but can't. I even told theemployee and I didn't even get a response.(I had to get my kids a separate order of fries so they had something besides theirice cream and entree selection) Are you also using these bananas in smoothies and such? I'll never be back to the Dearborn location in Missoula, or any locations in Missoula(or any location anywhere). Ordered 6... piece chicken strip meal. Received 4 puny little chicken strips for over $10? I guess maybe try to hire people that are able tocount to six. Read more
