The food line was very messy and several of the ingredients were out (I even had to scrape the bottom of the tray to get some... rice). The chefs did not stir fry, they would plop the ingredients on the grill and just let them sit until it was time toremove them. That makes for uneven cooking and the loss of flavor. I love the setup of this restaurant! Getting to customize what you eat is amazing! The lines for food can get very long which is... why I try to go in off peak hours. The last time I ate dined in the wait for refills was quite long. I would definitelyrecommend Huhot to anyone that liked great food! Read more
My wife and I tried this place out for dinner and for 2 people, our bill came out to like $35.00 not counting the tip. Which is... a great price considering the food was good, I ordered a beer, and extra appetizers. My only knock on the place was that one ofthe appetizer items on the menu stated ?3 of each,? but we only got 2 egg rolls. The waitress was nice, but informed us that thesizes were larger so we only get two. Not a big deal but?. maybe chaon the menu so the customers are aware. Our waiter Jacob was nice. The cook that was on the grill by himself seemed new. Another cook came back out and was trying to... help him. Our food got burnt. The manager then came out and in front of everyone told them what they were doing wrong. That hehas told then 49 times and they will get it right. That was so inappropriate to handle the situation that way. A good managerwould never do that. No sooner did he walk away from that situation that he was talking rudely to one of the waitresses. So me and my wife went there for dinner we heard mixed reviews we got our food went up to get it cooked. There was a young man... and a girl working the girls started her food and left while the guy was cooking several different plates. My wife's bacon andsome other meat just sat on top never got cooked thoroughly we're not very happy and it was almost 60 bucks for two people nothanks won't be back. Read more
We have eaten here numerous time and it's been great. This time we had the worst $46 experience ever. The food was gross and... old. The wall in the booth were extremely dirty. There were numerous employees fixing their hair and makeup in the mirror behindthe bar. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Read more
I go weekly, I love Huhot so much! I was raving to my new girlfriend about it and took her for the first time. The waitress... totally forgot about us! No refills or checkups at all, we had to go ask for our check. She wasn't impressed. I will give ashout out the the guy with the beard and longer hair, he is awesome. I really wish the grill people would stir our creations upmore often before the sauce cooks off. One grill guy I watched he was very attentive and holy cow it was amazing. He stirredat least every minute. Other times the priority seems to be scraping the grill and throwing more on which they already can'thandle. Noodles burn and the sauce, which is the most important thing get burnt away leaving everything dry and boring. It'sdisappointing to have such inconsistencies. Great place for any event to just a nice lunch. Buffet style & well worth the money.
