UPDATE: The owner has been responsive to this post & are trying in this challenging environment. I've changed my 1 star to 3... given my overall experience over two decades. # # # It is a sad thing to report. We have been going to Taco del Sol for over 22years. I have put their sticker on my skis and sent my son to college in Utah with their branded t-shirt. We have been patientwith the downward slide of service and quality for over a year. Today we called and left a message about our experience. My togo full fish burrito was made so poorly, it broke wide open while being made...they just wrapped another tortilla shell aroundit...it did not have what I ordered on it. My wife's fish taco was supposed to have everything and it only had white sauce. Icould tell it was a new employee... And let's face it, every small business is facing challenges finding people.However, I hopethey turn it around before losing more long-term customers. Read more
I?m not leaving a 1 star review because the pork burrito was bland and tasteless, which it was. I?m not leaving a 1 star review... because they stopped cooking fish at 2:20, and all I ever eat here is the fish burrito. It?s not even about the stale chips thatthey charged me $3 dollars for. There is a hand written sign that says ?sorry, we?re closing at 3:00 today? In my head, ?okaygreat, that leaves us 40 minutes, no problem!? But no, they didn?t even let us eat our meal in the shop. They offered us a seatin the parking lot? it?s 92 degrees outside. What, you?re not gonna be able to wipe down the table in 20 minutes?? Have a littleprofessionalism please, you?re a business. Del sol is one of my favorites and the best place for a good burrito in my opinion through Missoula. Good prices as well

I have been a long time customer of taco del sol. This location in particular has went downhill. The food is still pretty good,... not complaining about that. But the bathrooms are not cleaned regularly, the tables are also often dirty, while the staff sitsin the back. Witnessed at my last visit what looked like the staff having beer in back between customers. Love this place somuch and miss how it used to be. Read more
Just moved back to the area from Tucson where there is an abundance of taco shops. So maybe I?ve grown accustomed to a different... flavor. The restaurant it self looks cool but the food is so bland. There is no flavor. We had a chicken taco salad, nachos(cheese was just melted on the top leaving no cheese for the chips underneath), and a quesadilla. Read more
Fly infested. Been a long time customer here but there fly problem is absolutely disgusting. It's been going on for months but... my last trip was the last straw. There were multiple flies landing on the food being made, flying in the employees faces as wellas ours in line, and even saw a dead one floating in the beans. When I asked the manager about it she told me the owner didn'treally seem to care what went on in his stores. Really disappointed. This was at the brooks location by Starbucks. Read more
