+ 1 Slider with Fries The slider is served on a hamburger bun with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave?s sauce. Extra hot was a bit... spicy for me, I was a bit surprised because I do love spicy food. Ordered the 1 slider + 1 tender meal for about $12.00. There was an option to substitute French fries for Mac and cheese, which... I did. Spices range from "none" to "reaper" which is the hottest. (Note: Reaper requires to sign a waiver) The order came outin a fair amount of time with not too much waiting. The chicken served was crispy and juicy! Very good quality tenders. Iordered "hot" level spicy which definitely has a kick to it. What I like about their spices was that it was not only spicy, butit had a light sweetness to it. It had a blend of flavors. The Macaroni and cheese was not too different than otherrestaurant/instant Mac quality but it was still pretty good for what it's worth. Customer service was excellent! Cashierexplained how the menue worked and expected sizes for the good in detail. He was very patient about the options given. Also letme know I could swap my fries for Mac, which I did. Read more
Love Dave?s Hot Chicken! We have tried a couple different options but my husband and I have settled on sharing a number 2 (2... sliders with fries), hot, with cheese ????. We enjoyed our visit. I ordered the #3, one slider and one tender with fries, hot. My wife ordered a #2, two sliders with fries,... medium. Meals don't come with a drink, which is surprising given the cost. . The fries are seasoned and pretty good. You getplenty of them. With the seasoning, they are not an antidote to the hot chicken, however. You get a slice of bread and a couplepickles for that. . The chicken was cooked very well. It was still juicy inside. The coating was flavorful; spicy, yes, but notjust spicy. I think there was a hint of sweet too. . One thing that I missed was a fork and knife. I got a thing against dirtyfingertips, ya know? And I paid the price later when I rubbed my eyes, despite washing my hands. . On the other hand, the placeis very clean. I saw the manager wiping tables, and then a staffer did again just a little later. Nice. . This was a good meal,but the price puts it in the premium category. Dave's lives up to the hype. The food is good. The marinade/sauce they use is smokier than to other Nashville hot chicken... places we have gone to. The sliders are the size of a regular chicken sandwich. I don't even get the sliders meal anymore Ijust order one slider with fries and cheese on the side to dip because the portions are that large. The staff is all very friendly and do a great job. My rating is due to the price and food. It was $12 for a combo, surprisingly... it didn?t come with a drink, which was $2.25 extra. $14.25 for a meal of 2 tenders and crinkle cut fries and a small drink ispretty steep. I expected the food to be extremely wonderful for the price. The chicken was tender and similar to dark meatalthough it was white meat (the best thing about it). The fries were less than average. If you like raising cane?s a lot youmight like this. The seasoning on the chicken was nice- it was unique because it seemed to have a hint of cinnamon and sugar. Isuspect the recipe is something like salt pepper, paprika, curry powder, fajita seasoning, cayenne pepper, rosemary, maybe a fewother things. Ordered 2 Sliders with cheese fries. I could only eat one slider and it was pretty good. I usually don?t like pickles or... coleslaw on my sandwich but I did on these. Plenty of extra pickles and sauces were included without me asking. The fries weregood, but I didn?t care for the taste of the cheese sauce. I do think the price point is high. Read more
First time here and we placed big order. Three #2?s, the two sliders and fries and one #3, one slider, one tender and fries. We... ordered a side of Mac and cheese as well. We definitely were not disappointed at all. Chicken was fresh and juicy, buns were sosoft and fries were fresh, crispy and seasoned so well. We are absolutely impressed with the flavor. So good. The mild has noheat but great flavor, hot was amazing and extra hot was so flavorful and not overly spicy, tolerable and enjoyable. Mac andcheese was so cheesy and delicious. Can?t wait to go back!
