Not sure what's wrong with the location, but outside says lobby is opened until 9pm, and they had doors locked at 7:30 pm, tried... even calling but no response. Not everyone has a car for drive thru, typical racism with truckers. Read more
The workers stand outside the only door smoking, so you have to walk through the cloud. One of the workers was just outside... smoking holding a baby, the other was walking around with her body parts half hanging out, just go to the next exit. However farit may be. Read more
Been here many times with no problems until recently. We arrived at 9pm one night (an hour before close) to them having computer... issues and could not serve us. Just tried again a month later, again arriving at 9pm to have them tell me they can't help mebecause their power is going in and out. I said you should shut off the lights and the girl replied with, 'do you think weshould clean in the dark?' with significant attitude. I replied no, but you should shut all the flashing 'Open' lights off outfront. Two times in a row of closing an hour early because of problems. Considering I am the one that didn't get food TWICEafter driving out of my way to be greeted with rudeness is unacceptable. Please do better Taco John's. Read more
Pulled into the drive up no one answered in the machine. Drove around to go inside and the doors were locked. Went through the... drive through again and still no answer on the machine. The open sign was on and saw people inside, it was 9 pm. Went toMcDonald's. Read more
Walked to this business from the next door hotel and would never go there again! The two booths in the dining area are... apparently reserved for staff break areas as personal items are just left lay all around and the staff hangs out in the boothsbetween customers and yell back and forth to each other (if they're not stretched out to sleep), this is NOT a welcomingenvironment! The tables were all dirty and the trash containers were overflowing. This place is a definite "no ". Read more
Not sure what the what was going on at this TACO John's location! As we entered the Drive-thru, the attending asked us to... please wait. It was a while, longer than 5 minutes. We engaged again, and they said, "we're sorry but could we please continueto wait?" When we finally did order, it went well. We did have to wait a while for our food after we paid. Not sure why a cheesequesadilla had that spicy cheese sauce on it, but it was impossible to eat and didn't hit the mark. My wife's Taco John burgerwas good, though. This location is pretty remote. It's likely tough to get folks to work here. However, since this should beknown as a locality challenge, those who own the location could do more to preserve professional staff and avoid theobstacles. It needs work out in rural Iowa team! I love taco johns just like 30 minutes away from this place. THIS TACO JOHNS is not great. Hate to say it but no one wants to... work, they still don't have their lobby open and when we pulled up to the drive through no one answered. We even tried calling,no one answered that either and when we pulled around they had on a tiny peice of paper that they were closed due to a watermain break in the town, even though all the other fast food places were open.
