8/4/2022 This is my third or fourth time here. This time I had the chicken salad ???? which was good. My one concern was that... the soap dispenser in the restroom ???? was broken. Sure would have liked to be able to wash my hands. 4/29/2021 I had thehamburger and baked beans, of which both were very tasty. The prices were good as was the service. First visit and had the Swamp Donkey Burger - just right as served, no extra sauce needed.
We were searching for a local-ish diner and ran into this place - what a find! Super service and friendly patrons - even though... we weren?t from the area. And then there?s the wacky menu and the amazing burgers. You won?t go away hungry! Read more
This is our 2nd time at a Bucksnort and it continued to meet our expectations. We all tried something different and loved it... all! Waitress kept our drink filled and checked in with us often. We will be coming back again after a drive through the Loesshills! Read more
Stopped by here on way from Sioux City to Omaha. Short 6 min drive off freeway w easy access. Scanned menu online and decided to... give a try. Outside of building wasn?t ?super inviting? but they had a nice patio area off the street w sunshine so we went forit. Husband and I ordered Sweet Fritters and Fried Pickles for appetizers and both were great. Fritters are a creamed corn deepfried yum, our first experience!?I had grilled chicken honey sandwich - was Yummy and filling. Husband had pork TenderloinSandwich which was also very tasty. Not the ?healthiest? choices for menu items but we enjoyed all! Service was on point?whichis rare these days, super friendly, helpful, and quick service. Was close to closing time but the only place that was still serving food that evening in Missouri Valley. Went in with my guy... and we got a couple of their burger specials which might included age and bacon on top of and his included smoked pork and eggon top of his hamburger. Friendly staff. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, it was excellent! Homemade, hand breaded fried pickles, same with my... crispy chicken sandwich. The brisket and burger were cooked to perfection! We never had to wait even a second for a refill, ourserver was at the table taking care of things before we even had a chance to ask. Was in town helping another crew with there project. The company said take your crew (9)out that night so they wanted to try... buck snort. The waitress was friendly and that about the best I can say. 45 minutes after we ordered she came out and said theywere out of fry?s. After 1 hr they started bringing out the food. Every order was wrong after 1 1/2 hr they ask if we neededanything else. I ask if I could have my food before I paid the bill the I ask if they had even started marking it I got the wellwe pre make the patties and we have a new cook.
