We went out of season, so it was very calm. That might be why we didn't se our waitress to much. However I wanted to order a... second beer and was not able to. The BBQ is good but not the best I've had before. The sides (baked beans and potato salad) weregreat! Same goes for the pecan pie. Read more

Came by this spot during our week visit in moab after a long hike. As a LA local, Blu Pig gives some serious competition. Their... ribs were fall of the bone and still juicy, not oversauced. The tri-tip was so tender and had a decent smokey flavor again, unsuaced which gave you the freedom to add as much of their bbq sauce. The portions were fair for the price. The ambiance iscalm and collected with the faint live jazz blues coming from the bar. Honestly a great spot for tourists and locals alike. Read more

Just came here the other day with 5 people and shared some ribs, wings, and mozzarella sticks. Definitely get the gumbo -... they've done an excellent job refining the recipe and I can just eat this meat gumbo combo all day. Ribs were fall of the bonedelicious. Wings were smokey and delicious. Mojitos were also strong, but tasted smooth. Great stop in Moab! Read more

Staff is over worked. Do them a favor and go somewhere else. $11 hush puppies under cooked. Pulled pork sandwich had a soggy... "toasted" bun indicating it had been sitting there a while. No flavor in the pork, not even smoke flavor. Fries were soggy.Apparently refills on water are not included. If you want to blow your money and time, come here. The blue lights are coolthough. 1 star for the blue lights I guess. Read more

Solid smoked meats and something unique, 4 different BBQ style options from different regions. So whatever kind of sauce you... consider the "real" sauce, you're in luck! I got the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, turkey and Cajun sausage, with fried okraand the fries. Everything was great. They have a good amount of other options if you're not into BBQ. The gentlemen a couple oftables over was raving about his catfish poboy, so there we have it! Recommend! Read more

The ambiance of this place was awesome since it has a jazzy feel to it. The food was great, though the ribs that I got need a... little bit more smoking. Their cornbread was sooo delicious and also their desserts. Read more

To expensive to be average with the price of a basic meal at $30 with athe soda. Service: sorry but it was below par. As... mentioned in the environment section, it was breezy and cold by the patio door that they sat us down by. The server didn?texplain anything and was distracted. Although she warmed up a. It over the night , she wears not very personable. Environment:for a BBQ joint it looked more like a night club. Dark inside with blue lighting. It was cold where we were sitting. They sat usby a door going to the patio with servers going in and out and the breeze came right accords to us. I mentioned it shortly afterwe sat down and the server did not even respond to my comment. Cost: quite expensive. Especially for the service and for a 4:40arrival, many things were not available. The Baked potatoes were not going to be ready for another 45 minutes which means thatthey were not even in the oven when we arrived , and the cheddar mashed potatoes where already gone. Food: I like the thickslices they do for all the meats All the meats had a nice thick red smoke lines the Tri-tip was so well seasoned that I didn?twant or need any BBQ sauce. It was cut from the end, good for the seasoning, but it got dry dryer the closer that I got to theend. By the end, it was to dry and tough to eat, and there The turkey was moist and was complimented by the sauce. The brisketwas again, thick sliced, with a nice smoke ring, that was fully rendered but dry. The biggest disappointment was the cornmuffins. Please add some salt and maybe some honey! They were so bland and so almost inedible that my kids would not even eatthem. If they are a recipe, buy a mix. Cole slaw, a must with BBQ was enjoyable and fresh and crispy. The beans were good, nothing special, but good. The onion rings were also a huge disappointment for the kids. The breading was crisp but the onionwas a soggy and mushy. Read more

NYE and everything is closed in Moab. I was shocked. The Blu Pig was open for dinner and drinks! And also had great live music.... We ordered turkey, burnt, wings, and sides. The burnt ends and wing were great. Get the wings with the garlic Buffalo sauce.Music was at the perfect volume. Will visit again when down here again. Read more
