Decided to try Culver's after a friend recommended it. I ordered 1 Butterburger Cheese and 1 RootBeer Shake. I paid and pulled... up and waited. And waited. And waited. After more than 30 minutes (and 5-6 cars served behind me), i parked and went inside fora refund. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Will not be returning anytime soon. Read more
The service was very friendly, however the wait time was a little ridiculous. It took 30+ minutes to get their ?Flavor of the... Day? custard. I would think that they would have their flavor of the day ready to go, but apparently not. Food was out quick,and it was pretty good. However I don?t want to wait over half an hour for 2 scoops of ice cream. Read more
We tried the shrimp dinner today. Coleslaw was fair. Shrimp are very small coated in thick, crunchy breading. Over abundance of... slightly seasoned French fries.Service is excellent. I has coleslaw hanging outside of the container. It was replaced with anapology from the staff. Over all value with this meal was poor. Best to have their burgers, cheese curds and amazing custard.Will do that next time. Read more
This place was super underwhelming. The food was not good at all and the drive thru took ages. The patty on burger was literally... flat and the onions were super thick. I basically had an onion burger. The patty on my chicken sandwich was the same patty youget from a Tyson pack of chicken patties. The shake was good. Everything else was not good at all. Read more
Culver's is fantastic! It was worth the wait to get one built here in Mobile! My family and I have been fans of this place since... we tried them in Tampa FL. If you love ice cream and have not yet tried frozen custard you are in for a TREAT! The thing thatsets it apart from ice cream is that frozen custard has a richer, thicker, and creamier texture than ice cream. Let me tell youit is like frozen VELVET it is SO smooth and creamy!! Not only that, but they have premium add ins like cashews, pecans, fruitand assorted candies. Aside from the frozen custard (which is the star!!) they have some delicious, juicy burgers they call"Butter Burgers". Man oh man! The beef patties are grilled fresh to order *and* they butter and grill the buns!! (The Mushroom &Swiss Butter Burger is SO good!!) They even have fried cheese curds! If none of this strikes your fancy there are North AtlanticCod plates and sandwiches, salads, roast beef sandwiches etc. It is a bit pricey but the quality is way over the top of regularfast food places. The staff and owner are VERY friendly and accommodating! Do yourself a favor and check out Culver's! It iswonderful! Read more
The first experience was excellent and inspired us to return, but the second one not so much. They made every effort to make... sure everything was a great experience the first time, like a grand opening. Second time, not so much. No matter how good thefood a " who cares" attitude will end me spending my money. Read more
About time one opened up so close... Having been from WI and a frequent visitor of Culver's I was eagerly awaiting for one open... up close. Well this store should be given an award for the WORST food preparation, quality, and customer service. The PretzelBites tasted burnt and they wanted to charge for removing the cheese, provided wrong charge for our meal, did not provide allitems ordered. Thanks for poor first time experience for Mobile. the owner of this franchise and be assured that we will notvisit again. Edit:.... I stopped in today at 2:17 in the afternoon and was got the opportunity to stand in the lobby with nowelcome, no one say please wait, or hey we will be right with you. After 2 minutes of clearly standing there I left. You cansee the photo I took of the staff that was ignoring or completely oblivious to the customer in the lobby. I had even oneemployee walk past me in that time. My one star rating will stand. Read more
Food was okay, cheese curds were awesome, burger would have been better if I got to eat it warm, but it wasn?t warm because we... waited 15 min for the food and they got something small on our order wrong, so we waited 25 extra minutes in line (we were eventold to move up twice) for them to remake it before I went inside to check on it; apparently it was forgotten about. 2 starsinstead of 1 since the manager and one of the staff were very friendly and helpful, I MIGHT go back in the future thanks tothose cheese curds and how quickly the manager fixed the issue but stay out of the drive through, it?s a trap.
