My fiance and I were driving through Alabama and were really wanting some good BBQ. After finding Meat Boss, we went there... around 9am since we were continuing our road trip back west. Victoria and the other ladies at the counter were so incrediblynice and helpful and made us a specialty breakfast bowl with brisket. They were so kind, and the food was absolutely delicious.I will definitely be returning if I find myself back in this part of Alabama in the future. 10/10 customer service and 10/10food. Meat Boss is the place!! Read more

The food seemed a little bland for my tastes but you cant please EVERYONE! Chicken salad was awesome...even with the grapes in... it. The ribs were good after I put my own personal bbq sauce on it, but my brisket needed more seasonings. I hated the bbqsauce (spicy carolina and a regular kind). Staff were very kind and wore a smile and food came delivered to my car in good time. Read more

Honestly best coleslaw I've had at any BBQ place. The Bananna pudding is always a great choice as well. The conecuh sausage is... 10/10. If you love BBQ give this place a try. Read more

Nice and helpful service. It was father and I first time visiting the establishment. It was clean, the young ladies are... helpful and courteous. I am a vegetarian. And my father is not..... We ordered a spud. I'm sure he enjoyed his but mine was alittle disappointing. I had cheese, butter, sour cream, and fresh uncooked onions on my potato. It would have been better isI could have had grilled vegies on the potato instead. But what is a vegetarian/vegan to do amongst meat eaters!?! Lol Read more

We spent a lot of money so that I could try a bit of everything, so here's my review: Pulled pork: delicious, made a good... sandwich Smoked turkey: delicious, juicy, flavorful Brisket: good quality, super tender, no fatty bits, but could use moreseasoning on its own Baby back ribs: some of the best baby backs I can remember having. Tender, smoky, well seasoned Potatosalad was standard but good. Baked beans were great. Coleslaw was good on the pork sandwich. Banana pudding was watery with nowafers. I liked the spicy sweet sauce, the wife liked the spicy Carolina sauce. I recommend this place and I would eat hereagain. ???? Read more

Line to order is long but that gives you time to figure out your order. Staff helpful and answer all questions. I'm a newbie and... it wasn't uncomfortable. They will bring you your order if you go have a seat. Co.es out pretty quick. Sweet tea is good. Ihad brisket on sourdough, very good. I'm from Texas so I generally order brisket for bbq. Didnt disappoint. Slaw is a littlesweet and little tangy. I like it but it took a few bites for me to decide. Beans are good and not swimming in thin sauce. Iordered rib candy. Its a little pricey but dang its good. Overall I would definitely come back when opportunities exist. Read more

These were the best ribs I've ever put in my mouth!! The Carolina bbq sauce was delicious and that coleslaw will live forever in... my dreams! Adorable spot with top notch service and delicious food! The Brunswick stew was not my favorite and that's the onlything I could find wrong. My tip: always order the rib candy, I haven't seen anything like that anywhere else. It's heaven andtwo orders of it can be made into a sandwich!! Read more
