Got off of work stopped by around 4:45am, doors where locked while employee sat in there personal vehicle for over 35 mins... smoking Marijuana (which I don't have a problem with until you neglect your job). 6 cars in total waited in parking lot for thedoors to open patiently sat there for a good 45 mins. After arriving employee was definitely waiting till everyone left.Probably should not have a job there, needs to hire new employees or manager for nights worst WH service ever. Read more

The service was amazing made me a fresh pot of coffee as soon as I asked for one that explain to me that they were making a new... pot because that had been there for an hour or so to me that's the kind of restaurant I want to go into friendly service andthey really do take care of you Read more
Wanted to eat there but was told they were doing take out only. There wasn't anyone eating there and there were at least 3... people working. They were all sitting playing with their phones when we drove up. I understand being short handed but it seemedlike they just didn't want customers. A month or so ago I ate there and they were only taking cash. When I paid the girl didthe math on her calculator and never rang it up on register. I'm not accusing her of stealing but it seemed shady. Don't thinkI'll be returning to this Waffle house. Read more
Breakfast at Waffle House is affordable and filling. The service was quick, the dining area clean and the waitress was friendly... and attentive. Nothing fancy, but the food is good. Read more
Always liked Waffle house but one on Hillcrest was filthy last time I was there. Food and water all over the floor and trash... overflowing. Not too good to look at while eating. Will trya a different location next time. Read more
From a frequent guest to the Waffle House at Hillcrest and Grelot in Mobile, AL... The service is excellent, and the staff is... friendly and welcoming. Overall it is always a good experience there -> EXCEPT IT APPEARS the cook staff cannot keep theirpants pulled up to their waist line instead of hanging below their butts with their underwear exposed. It is an unsanitarysituation, with cooks who cannot pass the 3 year old diaper test. This location cannot seem to get this problem solved evenafter repeated comments to local and regional management. This kind of defiance and personal hygiene practice from employeesmust be an acceptable standard of behavior at THIS Waffle House, because I don't see it at other Waffle House restaurants. Read more
I have been coming here for a long time. This morning I walk in and as soon as you open the doors chairs are blocking it. We... scooted around the chairs and proceeded to go to an empty table. That?s when the tall slender lady with her hair in a bun atthe grill began to berate me and my friend. She said something about the chairs and note on them which was the first time Ieven looked at them. She spoke down to me like I was trying 3 year old and said to read. She then said wait over there witheveryone else. Mind you there are 6 tables open some dirty and some clean. Employees are stand around. We told her we wouldjust leave as she had and attitude. She achieved her mission of running customers off. I am also sure that it is illegal toobstruct a fire exit with chairs. Read more
