This restaurant has delivered food to me few times but very few times food I receive is clean. Filthy packaging, sauce stains... on to go boxes w finger prints, spillage etc but this last time, it topped it off, fried cockroach sitting on top of my friedfish order, yuck!!! Called restaurant immediately, of course the Mgr for the nite stated it cannot be cuz they get pesttreatments n I can get a replacement n store Mgr will call me next day. Nope no one called me back. Based on previous reviewsfrom other people about cleanliness at this restaurant, stay away it clearly shows, they prepare your food unhygienically nsloppiness is prime!! I asked if I can change the side to salad from cabbage a d the employee said they can. But when I got it there was no sauce... None. So I told them there are no sauce and asked for sauce and they said they can give sauce because I switched to salad fromcabbage. Even though I switched there was supposed to have sauce but they said they give. Why? Because they don't want to makesauce and too lazy. They all asked to manager and the manager decide that is more better to them no to customers. Dear OnoHawaiian in Modesto Store Owner, The women manager doesn't have or try to have tenacity, courtesy, business mind to treatcustomers. Don't even want to give 1 star. I called to ask if I can dine in after 9pm and the employee said we can because they close it at... 10pm. And we have visit there a lot with my tour customers after 9pm and we have dine in before. But not this only! Sometimethey allowed to dine in after 9pm but sometimes they don't even though the store isn't closed yet. If they want to close itearly they close it because they don't want to clean the table until 10pm. The women manager who wear glasses she came out toexcuse that they close it 9pm for dine in. They have a drive through! It was quite a wait but understandable with the kinda food I was getting. The inside is so clean and... a lot of seating and different kinds of seating too. Read more
This resturaunt is usually good 95% of the time. I get nothing but the island fire chicken, and they give really good portions... of chicken. Sometimes they get weird with other portions though, I often ask for more vegetables and no macaroni, and todaythey literally gave me one stalk of broccoli as opposed to an entire serving of macaroni salad. More vegetables equals morelettuce, which is a little disapointing. Lettuce has little to no nutrients compared to broccoli. See attached for the "morevegetables" I asked about. Read more
If you want Salmonella, come eat here. Rude cashier just brushed me off and didn?t care. I?ve emailed Ono and am waiting for a... reply. Disgusting sauce area, tables are not wiped down. We had to wipe it down ourselves with sanitizing wipes. Chairs arestained. Chairs are EVERYWHERE. Just gross. Get a knee staff that can cook and be more of service. Read more

I said that area was not clean or sanitized....I saw several customersdinning and take out "NOT USING GLOVES ". She said the sauce behind the counter was for drive-thru customers only. They're BBQ chicken is always cooked perfectly, their veggies are so good, their side order of macaroni is the best I've ever... tasted, their rice is is perfect each individual serving is so generous I save half for the next day'd lunch. Read more
