I took my friends son to do a painting activity at this coffee shop. There was a lady who teaches painting for all ages. He had... a lot of fun. It did cost $25. I don't usually do things that cost this much. He had a lot of fun. It was worth the money. Read more

I had a great experience here. The sandwich I ordered was very delicious. It was the Cali-Delight. Served on 5 seed sliced... bread, mayonnaise, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, mushrooms, onions, ham, bacon, with cheddar and Swiss cheese. I also hada strawberry & banana smoothie that was good. For dessert I had a slice of their chocolate fudge cake. For the longest time Idid not know they served sandwiches. Now that I do I will come back again. Read more

although I love the name and the ambiance of the place, the coffee was not great and the food was quite bland. I recommend this... as a place to go study but bring your own coffee if you?re needing that extra push. Read more

It's one of those places you reeeeally want to like, but never have a good experience at. It's a great space, it's locally... owned, they host events. Just terrible slow cranky impatient service all the time. Upcharge for credit cards, upcharge foralmond or soy. No vegan food options, upcharge for substitutions. There's always an issue. Today the server said she'd bring mydrink to the table, after about 25 minutes I wondered what could be taking so long for an iced coffee, so I went and checked andfound 4 drinks sweating on the counter. Then I took a big sip and got a mouthful of coffee grounds. See the photo below-- thisis what was left after I carefully drank the top portion without letting the straw touch the bottom. Gross. Oh, and it was$4.21. Read more

Came here for the 1st time today and was blown away! Such a cute place from out front. I had no idea it was even a business at... first! I had already had my coffee for the day so I tried their Lemonade and what I believe was called the Cali-Bean sandwich. It was the best ham bacon sandwich I've ever had! Came with Mayo Lettuce tomatoes bacon ham 2 kinds of cheese also came withmushrooms and onions but I got mine without. All on 5seed bread which I normally don't dig but was in love with this sandwichfrom the first bite! I will definitely come back. On and the Lemonade was perfectly sweet. Couldn't have found a better gem indowntown Modesto!! Read more

My girl @_____was there for an outdoor sales event Hosted by The Funky Bunch. The host were great along with their mocha and... smoothie. The costumes were fun, especially the little ones that came through with their parents. All guidelines wereenforced. Lovely place all around. You're gonna love the banjo players. Ask about the banjo's west African origins. Read more
