DONT BELIEVE THE Lies! Wish I could give it 0 stars! Went there 2 weeks ago as soon as you opened! Ordered 3 prime ribs, 2 were... medi rare 1 med. All 3 were well done. One didnt mind but then hated but ate it all. 2 of us sent it bk and still well done. Imsure you just reheated yesterday's left overs. Eaiter did NOT care and looked at us crazy. Manager never came out to speak tous! Never going back! Over priced and over rated and nothing to compensate us for 2 of us who left without rating!?!? Screw uand your lack of customer service! Every time I come here the food is exceptional. The staff is very attentive and polite. Definitely one of the best steak houses... I've been to. From their Augie's cut to the Porterhouse for 2 to 4 people, every cut is amazing. The sides are delicious and thestaff knows how to make a drink. I would highly recommend Augie's Prime Cut to anyone, whether they are a local or just passingthrough. Read more

If you are reading this wondering if you should go to the Hudson Valley Steakhouse or Augie's Prime Cut, there is absolutely no... comparison. Augie's wins. Do not let the facade fool you. This place feels modern and cozy inside, both in the bar area and thedining area. The food was excellent. The staff were attentive and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. On 9/8/21 we took the 30-minute drive down from dutchess county to visit this restaurant. This place is a must visit. Take... advantage of the special in the early afternoon until 5:30 p.m. on all entrees. All of our dishes were flavorful and cooked to perfection from the bread and roasted red pepper butter, the calamari, the baked clams oreganato to the prime rib that I had, tothe rib eye that my wife had, my daughter enjoyed the chicken piccati which she said was delicious and I agreed, and my son hadthe chicken marsala which was outstanding. The New England clam chowder was wonderful and a very impressive portion. Our serverMatt was amazing, he made the cocktails, they were perfect and actually had alcohol in them LOL. The other staff members madesure that empty dishes were removed promptly, which is a big pet peeve of mine and seems to be overlooked at manyrestaurants. They have indoor dining and outdoor dining. Best (and only!) prime rib in town. Prime rib is our annual family Christmas tradition dating back generations. Because of... Covid, we had a smaller Christmas gathering this year, and decided to find our prime rib at a dine-out experience rather thancooking. It was hard to find! Many restaurants have taken it off their menu, and are not offering abundant specials due toCovid. We found Auggie?s through a recommendation at it delivered! We dined on the outdoor patio, which was large and open, andnot crowded. I?ve only dined out twice during Covid and felt safe here. (The bar inside was crowded with people not wearingmasks, which was frightening. I would avoid that!) I made reservations for my husband?s birthday on December 1st, and was so happy that I did! The entire menu was 50% off! We... started with the fried calamari and they were so tender and tasted very fresh. For the entree?s he got the 42oz Porterhouse(sides not included as per usual) with a baked potato and asparagus, and I ordered the twin lobster tails, one for each of us.Tip was included into the whole price, and the service was excellent. Got this 5 star meal with awesome service for a fractionof the cost. This was a true blessing in this pandemic and made something normal (fine dining) feasible for me again duringthese hard times and the smile on my husbands face made it all worthwhile Read more
