Was driving through town to visit a friend and stopped here for a quick sandwich. Walked in and the light were barely on. It was... dark inside and placed and order and the 2 women behind the counter were flat out rude!!! A younger girl wirk black hair had ahorrible attitude like I was inconvenience her by ordering. They asked if I wanted butter on my sandwich and I politely declinedand a older women maybe the owner looked at me and said it's a Berks thing! Ok fine I'll try it! She was very rude! Got a ham and cheese hoagie. Fresh ingredients great taste. Only reason for the four-star is is the young lady behind the... counter said she?ll be right with me and then proceeded to chat for about two minutes with another person that was alreadywaiting on. Not sure how but they make an italian taste like heaven. The bread is always fresh. Old school hard rolls and soft rolls. Plenty... of meat and toppings. Perfect blend of meat, toppings and oil/vinegar, make for the perfect sandwich. Love the simplicity of theshops. No frills just great sandwiches and sides. Mohnton location has seating outside for those looking for a place to eattheir superb sandwich. Read more
Walked in to order just as another patron received her food, entering as she was leaving. The woman who handed the food to the... previous patron turned her back and walked away, moving to handle a bin of shredded lettuce. After 30s of neither employeeacknowledging my presence (no hello, may I help you, nothing) I made them aware of my displeasure, telling them that I'd beenwaiting and as neither of them had said a thing I was leaving. I wouldn't go here. Maybe at one point in the past it was good, but now it is not. The lettuce used on hoagies is old, wilted... and very yellow. The sausage and peppers were not fresh. They had to microwave the food to heat it up. Same price as Primo, andI would go there. Read more

The restaurant I wanted to eat at was closed. I headed to my next destination with the hope to find a restaurant on my way.... Stopped at the red light, I spotted this sandwich shop. I decided to get a sandwich, even though I am not a fan of sandwiches.This little sandwich shop is very clean and has different types of chips, snacks, drinks. In addition to sandwiches, they alsohave pizzas. I made a mistake ordering the pizzas. It was thin and they sprinkled some dried herbs and cheese on my cheesepizza. I was expecting a cheese pizza with nothing sprinkled on top. If I had known, I would have skipped it. The small cheesepizza was inexpensive. I also bought 2 large bags of chips. I recommend avoiding the pizzas. They do not have restrooms for thecustomers. You will need to go to Turkey Hill, the gas station across the street. One of my dogs liked the cheese on my pizza.
